Why? What is the value of a thread composed of people who are too lazy to install MapRank and want others to do it for them?

On the contrary, this thread is for players who have worked hard to not be dependent on MapRank.

You call mooching the labour of others "independence"?

I forgot. You're free of the need to go get a job because you independently sleep on your mother's couch.

Hmm, I think you think that I got my win data from MapRank and reformatted it.
I can assure that is not the case.

I did all my own statistical analyses, using nothing but CC's own Game Finder.
It really wasn't that difficult, and in any case, the chance to revisit, rediscover,
and further learn from my own past games was an invaluable experience. I recommend it to all.

Okay, if you compiled your own data then I apologize.

Not at all. They float on the surface in the same consistent location.

Ok, I am willing to throw you overboard with an anchor to test that theory.

You're confused between the anchor and the length of the chain that connects it to the anchored object.

I need 16 maps yet:

2015 World Cup,Baltic States,Classic Cities: Istanbul,Colosseum,Ethiopia,Eurasia Mini,Golfe Du Saint-Laurent,Island Of Doom,Krazy Kingdoms,Pirates and Merchants,Promontory Summit,Rail Asia,Spanish Armada,Vancouver,Vertex,Ziggurat

I haven't won on 6 of them:
Colosseum,Ethiopia,Krazy Kingdoms,Pirates and Merchants,Promontory Summit,Vertex

I also have 119 missing logs, so while I'd say that maybe they include some wins on my missing maps I think it is unlikely based on the newness of most of the maps I'm missing.

Also, I've apparently only never played on two maps: The Temple of Jinn,Happy Valentine's Day
Highest rank: 48th. Highest score: 3,384. Feb. 9, 2014.

Most interesting to have only have 16 of 253 left to go, but to have still entirely avoided/missed two maps.

When I was in the service we used to call that float testing. Toss the problem motor into the ocean, if it didn't float it wasn't fixable. Solved lots of problems that way because we had to get a new one.

Now this is different from the witch test from Monty Phython. Where you tie the suspected witch in a net and throw her in the river. If she floats, she is a witch and you burn her. This seems to be a test in common usage in CC for many different things.

This appears to be a very useful site. But I am unclear how to use it. How do I learn what maps I have met the achievement standard?

I.E., how do I enter the maps I have played, etc.?

Thanks,

BT

Well, one way is to use Game Finder. Just select one map at a time, hit Search, and see if you've beaten five or more people on that map. That's a pretty slow and laborious method, but it's reliable.

The time-saving method is to use MapRank. The current patched version of MapRank can be found HERE. Last time I tested it, it worked for me both with Firefox and and up-to-date Greasemonkey and with Chrome and an up-to-date Tampermonkey. However, I'm told the newest version of Firefox doesn't support Greasemonkey at all any more. I don't have time to test that theory right now, but if that's the case, then use it with Chrome only.

I had heard that although Greasemonkey won't work with Firefox anymore, you can install ViolentMonkey for Firefox, and everything will work again.
