No, it makes more sense do to it when you post your theory. Otherwise other people playing don't know what your theory is, and if they agree with you or if they should be looking for something else.MudPuppy wrote:I was assuming that was for the person who chose the song to do when they let you know if you were right or not.hopalong wrote:can we keep posting lyrics with clues highlighted? make it an educational activity as well.MudPuppy wrote:Guitars, Cadilacs by Dwight Yoakam

Even with the clue I struggled and (get a load of this!) I have the original album!TX AG 90 wrote:This song choice may be a little unfair.
The more I think about it, I realize that it was never released as a single. It was the introductory track of a this bands 1981 concept album (this band was big into concept albums, hint, hint, hint).
I'll give more hints tonight if you guys don't latch onto it.
I don't know if google lyric search will be much help and you young'ens might not be familiar with their work. However, they are a well known band and were one of the top bands of their time. I know Duk listened to them.

Tonight's the night we'll make history, as sure as dogs can fly
And I'll take any risk to tie back the hands of time
And stay with you here all night
So take your seats and don't be late, we need your spirits high
To turn on these theatre lights and brighten the darkest skies
Here at the Paradise....
I only had the Paradise Theater cassette tape. I wore that tape out in my Ford Granada Ghia in HS - Good TImes!Even with the clue I struggled and (get a load of this!) I have the original album!![]()

Ha! I had a Chevy Malibu SS of roughly the same vintage. It was never all shiny and clean like that, though. Usually covered in mud and horseshit or chickenshit from one of my part-time jobs on various farms...TX AG 90 wrote:I only had the Paradise Theater cassette tape.
