Why on earth can’t the starts be split? If you’re playing best of 3, each player gets 1 start and the last one random.
In auto tourament super elite, against higher ranking player, I had no starts in best of 5. Next round, exactly the same. Makes no sense. This would seem a very straight forward and simple rule.
