I'm CC-ing the part where he says he can ambush people and investigate them. It sounds waaaay too similar to my role. I can use an action that allows me to essentially self-defend and bite someone if they come for me, learning what they are (but not who they are). I was attacked by a shark and it's how I know I was attacked N1.

Our method of investigating flavour seems far too similar to be true and it would make 1 too many investigators in this game IMO

Whether it's random as to whether you are successful if you go after your food or not, at least the mod defined it for you. Then it occurred to me that perhaps only town folks got a favorite food, but not scum (whose favorite is anyone who is not scum). Either way, that makes Ragian scummy, thus my vote.

I'm not sure about mafia, but I think strong candidates for 3rd party are

dakky and skoffin's post are so obtuse at times, we have ask them over and over again what the hell they are talking about. Again, are they intentionally trying to muddle the waters or is it just the style of their play?

Sirius is throwing shit tons of spaghetti at the wall to see what sticks. His wacky theories are a huge time suck. Intentional or noob?

I still have some major concerns about Strike Wolfs claim that he misread his role TWICE and then claimed to be a Doctor during the whole jfm debacle. On top of that, I initially had serious doubts that Blacky was really poisoned until recently. I believe him at this time, but that doesn't make him town aligned. I have been flip flopping back and forth on blacky every real time day (I was sure he was town after D1, but now I'm not sure). Even if Blacky was poisoned AND cured by SW, doesn't make them town aligned. I have a strong feeling scum has a Doctor (or at least poison healer). I don't see Razor giving town multiple poisoners and not give Scum an out. Though making Scum convince a town healer to heal them may be the game mechanic, it doesn't make as much sense with multiple poisoners.

ZaBeast comes strongly across as town, but as a noob, I am probably easily fooled.

I think Mets is town - his defensiveness sometime creeps into antagonistic territory, but I think that is his personality/play style, not an indication of alignment.

I still have reservations about chapcrap. I was on him Day 1 and he has done nothing to change my mind. I have nothing concrete, so am hesitant to vote him, but something is off. Again, it could just be his style makes him seem scummier than he is.

I appreciate devil's advocates and those that poke holes in my theories, but some do it in a manner that seems misdirecting and hampering. I am suspicious of their true motives. Town should be helping town, not at each other's throats; especially if I'm the rookie and nobody screams town more than I do. Help me help you!

I believe Ragian because I did the same. When I read my initial blurb from Razor, my mind only retained what I thought was important for the game mechanic. When everybody kept asking what everyone's favorite food was, I was like "how do you know". After going back and rereading my initial role from razor I found it.

Here's a good test for Ragian. Where in the initial Role post from Razor can you find where your favorite food is?

Seems to be several folks actively defending Rage. He's still on my FOS list. I still can't get my head around his "going fishing" two nights in a row when the odds are against him. Did he also answer that question to everyone's satisfaction?

TBH I was leaning towards you being scum before you revealed this.
Now that you have claimed this I'm reading more of a 3rd party than part of a traditional scum team.
And it is still a liability because it means no one can check you or your story out also if someone is redirected they end up poisoned... both ways it is a liability!

I also find it odd that 2 ppl are claiming that they cant be checked at night...

Therefore, town won't suffer too much from me dying from trying to get my favourite food, and if town wins, I still win with town. Therefore, the bonus ability that I might acquire is worth the risk while me dying is not the greatest loss. I get the feeling that you're playing for yourself rather than for town.

So, did you bite the shark then? If so, are they injured in some way?

Blatant or not, anyone can say they were visited by a shark, I don't even remember who said something about sharks.. Pershy or jfm? Anyway anyone can make such a statement and we don't know if there are sharks in the game. Don't trust anyone in this particular game as it is lol anyway.

I have to concur with this mostly... However, if Ragian is acting as town during the day, that's helpful. And if no town attack him, then that's fine. The only downside would be if Tobi continues to try to misdirect people and they go into Ragian in that way or if scum has some kind of busdriver that would hurt town people in that way. Overall, I'm leaning more toward keeping Ragian than not at this point. I also do not think the passive poisoner is the extent of his ability. You have to assume he has an ACTIVE ability. So, the argument is whether or not he is third party/scum/town., IMO. I'm backing off my previous stance against him based on role. However, the voting is still suspicious to me.

What is scummy vs third party in your reads of players? Are you just saying third party because you don't want to say they are full on scummy? I really doubt there are that many third party people in one game, which is why I'm asking what the difference is for you.

As far as dakky vs Skoffin, I could see both roles existing I guess. I think there are blended roles and the ability to unlock additional things as well. That being said, not really sure that I trust either of them.

Did you skim over where I told you to stop skimming and read the thread and skim over where Ragian also pointed this out? I'm aware that you've acknowledged this as a mistake but you've now skimmed twice on this subject and:

I'm kinda disappointed in how little people seem to be acrually reading the thread today. I mean just a little bit ago someone asked Skoffin to state how her role countered Dakky just a few posts after she did. I also had to say 2 or 3 times that it was possible that my night action was successful in curing a poisoning victim not a regular night kill target like I initially thought before anyone actually acknowledged it.

Anyways, if I accept that there is a passive poisoner and he is Rage than I accept that Mets is likely poisoned. Neither being poisoned or being the passive poisoner proves alignment. In Mets case, it is purely neutral on alignment. In ragian' s case, I feel it makes him slightly more likely to be town or third party than scum but far from provably so. The favorite food thing from Raglan was weird but I'm also the last person to be lecturing about missing or misreading part of a role pm. Also with the details on how It works being in the day 1 rules, I'm not quite buying the logic that only town and maybe 3rd party have favorite foods. It seems more like a universal mechanic. It could be a scum tell but right now I'm leaning more towards it being a straw man certain people are trying to use as an excuse.

Going by the angle that he's not scum, those pushing hardest against him would be more likely scum than town. With him being best case scenario, a negative utility role, he's a relatively easy lynch choice. Furthermore he's a role that would be at best problematic for them to try to eliminate on their own.

I still don't really trust Tobi. The skimming and his misuse of logic on day 2 are still bugging me. He's second on my scum list.

Dakky spent most of the day lamenting that we were probably in a bastard set up until he was pressed to scum hunt and he made a lazy effort of it. Skoffin claim isn't exactly the same as his but I agree that it's amazingly similar. That's where I plan to have my vote.

Sirius continues to be wishy washy and throwing his votes and opinions around in ebrty direction.

Blacky is also starting to act more erratically. His latest behavior has me pushing him ahead of Sirius as possible scum.

Pik a I was mostly reading as town early on day 1 but his play since on day 2 and 3 has me reversing that position. Not the top of my scum list but I am becoming more suspicious of him.

Aage is just too quiet for me to have a real read on. As i recall, he tries to lead town as scum more than scummarine so I don't think its really alignment indicative. Probably needs to be replaced or at least get his butt in gear and do more.

I haven't really read Skoffin as anything but third party for most of the game. This latest bit makes third party extremely unlikely. Right now it's pretty simple: Dakky flips scum she's most likely town. Dakky flips town, she's most likely scum. It's difficult to see scum doing this just to lynch Dakky when he's already being doubted so I tend to believe her and agree that her role is too similar to Dakkys.

At near 72 and with glaucoma, I get real tired of reading quickly. All the small type and the long, long posts with quotes and counterquotes, etc. drive me nuts. I don't think I have ever been in a game that is at 51 pages still in D3. And, about 40% of what's been posted hasn't been worth reading (including some of my own stuff.. ). I'll try to be less verbose, although with what has come out so far, I'm not sure I will be more insightful. The little things I thought were slips have turned out to be naught.
