SoC 1v1 Ladder Challenge (CLOSED)

We have done Academy medals in the past. I see no compelling reason to change that.

My view was that I do not have the authority to hand out GA Medals and a request would have had to be passed up the chain

That being said ... if you have confirmed the medal requirements have been met I would be happy to honor him with one of our Shiny Medals

ETG is correct...my bad on that one...Medals for Ladder achievements come from the Academy, not GA.

Yes, that's my understanding. It was an SoC event and gave SoC medals.

I've called DIBS, but put an asterisk next to it. I cannot challenge Elaterate if he defends against Dukasaur as that would be in violation of Rule #12.

1-1 right now and our 3rd match is on Hive with nuclear spoils so might be a while lol.

There should be a time limit on that Rule IMO... nobody has shown any interest in DIBS for 2 weeks? now

Seeing that you called DIBS conditionally, I am also calling DIBS conditionally. That means, if Dukasaur wins then you have DIBS but if Elaterate wins then I have DIBS.

I researched anonymus' games and he does appear that he has left CC...match to benga is ruled a victory by forfeit.

Josko has won the first two games and will take the third very soon against me...I never had a chance in this match with his Japanese style of dice rolling...or maybe it was the large amount of sake he "forced" me to consume...LOL

Are you sure this is correct way to interpret the rule?

You challenged me AFTER I conditionally called DIBS, so my calling DIBS was valid before you challenged me to overcome rule #12.

I also didnt know that you can hold DIBS and at the same time challenge another player (as you did with me). I thought that calling DIBS means that it is your pending challenge so you cannot have another challenge simultaneously. If I had known this then I would call DIBS at the same time when I challenged ElricTheGreat, but instead I waited until my challenge vs ElricTheGreat has ended.
