Favourite computer game

Post by mrswdk »

Now that no one is allowed to leave the house, sales of computer games are expected to ROCKET by as much as 4,350% over the next week.

Let's pick CC's favourite multiplayer game. saxitoxin-19 has promised to use his bandwidth to then hold a CC gaming party.

Dota is banned from this list.

Alpha Centauri.

But it doesn't have multiplayer mode, of course.

Currently I'm playing Crusader Kings, which does. Anybody else play CK?

I never played Alpha Centauri, but Civilization probably is my favourite game. The modern instalments in the series surely offer multiplayer. And Freeciv has multiplayer.

Yeah, the newer Civs have multiplayer. I haven't tried them yet.

Lemmings and Doom should both be on the list. Get rid of all the Doom wannabes on the list.

Doom of course - the granddaddy FPS. But no question - X-Wing - with a pentium 90, 14 inch CRT screen and a good early 90's joystick. Gameplay perfection.

I tried it once and thought it was pretty lame. Two players on a map, both found a city and then churn out warriors until eventually one gets lucky, takes the lead and then captures the other one’s city.
