Hello. I have a question I haven't seen addressed anywhere in the rules. If you start a game and make a mistake, e.g. you don't want to play freestyle or trench warfare, is there any way to get out of it without penalty? What if your opponent also wants to get out of it?

No, there's no easy way to get out of it. Just play it out. If both of you really do want to get out of it, doesn't take long to sleepwalk through a game.

There is a resign button, but in 1v1 it won't pop up until Round 10, and a 1v1 game can be over long before then.

One thing you can do is start another game, same settings and you each dump one to the other, thus avoiding one of you ending up with free points.
