yes this is natural and happens to all maps. usually when it's near completition and it just awaits quenching a map gets few posts because it is already done. and after andy quenches it there are 30-40 congratulatory posts in a short period of time.

only 5 and a half days passed since the quenching. probably 2-3 more days to wait.

cause on friday i'm leaving town on a small vacation and i'd hate to miss the maps :cry:

now i'l frobably stay all night hitting refresh on the maps page :lol:

the size of the image files i submitted was much larger than the one here:

that's because guiscard hasn't provided a new uploaded xml. and the old one has expired. same happened to the other maps :shock:

i don't have guiscard's xml. :?
and all other xmls have been sent. only guiscard's is missing.

there's a version on page 43 of his thread. I'd say someone should triple check it and send to lack if it's good. I'd do it, but I'm busy right now
