Trench Warfare

Post by HardAttack »

Apart from the fact that i am playing it time to time,
to me, trench warfare looks like to be kids playing in safety of shallow waters...

what do you think ?

If you look at kids playing in shallow water in most countries you would be viewed as sick, a pervert. In America you'ld be celebrated as brave and not creepy.
Trench is boring.

Trench warfare is closer to real warfare that the original rules. In the real world troops have to stop and resupply and reorganize after a major operation. One doesn't just drive from Kamchatka to Dakar in one big push.

Definitely not Curtis LeMay. Remember how he was constantly begging the Navy to capture more advance bases for him?

i dont know O:)
need to consult lamapedia.org

trench warfare, of course is or was a factual especially during WWI era,
apart from that, in cc, it is pretty much of limitation over the gaming prospects and dynamics. A simplification in my book.
Some like it hot, then no need to say it is this or that, no need to degrade it. Just simplified mode of risk gaming

it makes hoiding bonuses easier, and deploying a lot more numbers round basis, maybe it is why commonly welcomed to be fun.
