Lowest Rank Goes First

Instead of random first, lowest rank in the game goes first. This would also help in team games where most players won’t join a low rank to fight captains or above.

There isn’t a chance with will happen but I still like it.

I don't like this idea for many reasons.

Imagine being the higher rank among 2 equally skilled players. One major, the other brig and in every game, the major goes first. Rank doesn't always mean less skilled, especially when you go above captain.

A couple people in my clan have stripe ranks at times and they aren't poor players, they just play crazy settings in their non-clan games. So, what if I team up with one of them and go first in all the team games against higher ranks? I don't think that would be fair at all. Going first can be a major advantage on some maps. =)

Or just don't play maps/settings where first turn can potentially decide the game if it bugs you that much.

I also dont think first turn is the deterrent to playing on a team with random low ranks. The deterrent there is that they're random low ranks. I wouldnt care if i got to go first if it meant teaming up with some dipshit who doesnt know what theyre doing and wont listen. Exception being shannons example of low rankers who know what theyre doing but thats pretty easily sussed out by looking at a players profile.

first turn can be such a huge advantage depending on the settings, seems like if you did this youd have to adjust the point gain/lost system to account for it. Probably too much of a mess

horrible idea imagine this on england, I'd kill my rank then start 100's of these and then save them all till i get 200-300 of them going then I'd play and win all of them

Yup it would make it crazy easy to exploit if someone wanted those monthly leaderboard things
