Might seem like a stupid question but how do you start 2 player games for 2 other players (you not being part of that game). They are new players to CC and aren't premium yet. We got a faceoff deal going amongst ourselves but I'm the only premium player who can do game invites. Any feedback is appreciated
Problem there is i think you have to wait for the invite to be filled otherwise the game still drops when you drop it but I could be wrong. Never heard of it but I wonder if you can do a private tournament? If you get tournament privileges, you can start games without being in them.
Thanks guys. I tried the whole start and drop thing but the moment I dropped out it canceled the game. Tournament privileges would work. Who would I talk to about that? And any idea if that's something CC is alright with, running a private tourney versus one open to the other members
no way you'll be granted tourney privs to help out 2 NR's - as long as the other player you invited has joined prior to you dropping out of the game, it should work just fine...
Lol llama. Once the player joins a 2 player game, the game starts.
Could just create private 3 player games and deadbeat right away, leaving the other 2 to sort it out. That's a lame workaround because 3 players changes the start situation on some maps though.
Campaign will work on the same map. Was trying to do up similar to Flex's golf tourney which I liked. No worries I'll just have to change the tourney format to 3 or 4 player instead. Trying to get these freeloaders hooked on tournament gameplay and get them on board.
it would be nice if bigworm would just give NR's the ability to send invites instead of giving us stuff nobody even asked for like the hideous new medal display...*shrugs* - anybody remember the backlash when Central Command first showed up? good times...
