Premium Accounts and some thoughts.

Hi Guys,

I was thinking on the way to work today of a few features you could add to your "Premium Package" to perhaps entice a few more users into buying the membership.

a) Premium Membership could get you into a private area on the forums that is only for Premium Members. Call it the CC Country Club', where the members can mingle amoungst themselves, talk stratagy, etc. I would keep the forums as they are now, but add a private area just for Premium Members.

b) I would offer a once or twice a year Premium Members Tournament where as only Premium Members can sign up, and there be a large prize followed by a few smaller prizes. The idea behind this being that if twice a year ( lets say ) CC gave away $100.00 gift certificates to whatever, you ( in my opinion ) create a stir of talk about the tournament where non-members might just want to join in on the fun.

c) Put together a league. A Premium Member League, much like the NFL, or NHL where you sign up for the season ( seasons can last a matter of a few months ) and you can only play players with-in 3 ranks of you. For instance, if you are ranked #87 in the league, you can only play #84-#85 or #86, as well as 3 behind you ( 88,89,90 ). Have a point system so that the win for someone ahead of you jolts you up the ladder, and a win against someone below you, just boosts you abit. With alittle thinking and alittle structure, that could take off huge!

Sounds pretty cool but a tad bit sketchy. I'm actually getting premium later today so that would be fun.

The tournament idea sounds good. It would definitely make people want to get premiums. Not too many perks for premium right now as compared to other game sites.

I think ( to be honest ) for the most of us, the fact we can play unlimited games was enough. But there are people who just need alittle push over the fence and then thier minds are made up. I was just trying to do some thinking to help the site perhaps give the users the little push they may need.

add to that the golden rank and ive never even considered i needed any more for my money. i think lack should start charging extra for these extra features! id pay more..........

Well, there is a limit in the business world that companies set to what the maximum to charge for a service is. I can't say I have ever talked to this "lackattack" but I would imagine they have a good thing right now set at $20.00 a year. I was aiming more or less at the people who are playing but NOT premium members. Premium members have already shown they will commit to the site for a year.

The other thing to remember is that after a while, as in anything things can get "stale". Now, I in no way feel this at this point in time as I am a new member, but I imagine there are a few members around since day 1, who have paid for 2 years in a row, and would like to maybe see something new ... to kind of shake things up in the "this is new and fun" department.

Again, I am only throwing these out there to try and help the site
