I didn't say you never make public games. I played two against you. It is implied via very basic English that the games I referred to in that sentence are the games being discussed in this thread.

You know people have been punished for tactically inviting players of all ranks to games? Even colonels and above, when they'd never played the map.

I don't think the longevity of your premium membership has any relevance whatsoever to the fact you're deliberately and repeatedly inviting low ranks to your games. If anything, it suggests that you're making the most of having premium for a short period by farming these players, before you end up a freemium again and unable to send those invites.

Several hundred games and the vast majority of those players are still sitting under sergeant. What does that tell your about their playing ability?

wow, 5 long detailed paragraphs, whew. Maybe your ranch is dieing because you spend too much time on a game-site instead of studying agribusiness more. And you digress so much about not paying for premium. We both have the same problem: we spend too much time on CC already, and so that's why I don't buy premium.

Then there's the terribly shitty dice strings that I'm sure aren't random. And don't tell me that just because an algorithm offsets strings of low dice with strings of high dice, etc. doesn't make it random. Those are the two reasons I don't buy premium.

Caff is a fool for other reasons. My win % is probably high because I had focussed on one map (Europa) and just know it better than most. I used to play low level robots a lot, not sure if those wins are included in my win %, but if they are, then there you go. It sure hasn't increased due to playing with recent premium.

And about recent premium: If you or Caff check my score, over the last 2-3 years it's been in the Capt/Maj rank. Add'l premium games have nothing to do with inflating my score either.

It's not a subculture at all. Yes, some of the people in this section of the forum could be nicer, and I'm not happy with the way that other thread played out, but they absolutely have a right to report people if they're thought to be ranching.

Ranching in itself has a negative affect on the site, and players leave because of it, not because someone got called out for it. Say you're a sarge/captain/whatever, and you start inviting low ranks to your games. Those low ranks join because they think it's nice that someone invited them to play. Ultimately, they lose every game because the map/settings have quirks that they didn't understand, and it feels disheartening. (The victim could even have a higher rank than you and have never played certain settings.) This has happened to me when I was a new player. I was thanking people for inviting me to games thinking they just wanted to play, then realised that I was being had and the person was just an asshole. It's not a nice feeling and kinda makes you feel like a terrible player. Now whether a player intends to ranch or not is of no consequence. If they do this on a regular basis, they get flagged by someone. Intentions don't matter, everyone gets the same punishment. How can C&A tell if it was intentional or not. One just has to own it, and change what they're doing. Then having learned from it, move on.

If a new player joins the site, he will have absolutely no problems and no accusations at all if he creates games and lets people join them naturally. Join a club, tribe or clan if you want a regular bunch to play against. Even set up a thread in callouts saying you'd like to find some regular teammates. I'd even suggest to new players to try out auto tournaments once they get a handle on the basics of the game. They are a great way to get matched up against all kinds of opponents and improve your skills. And once they start, they fill up quickly.

People just need to make reports here, state the facts and leave. There's no need for all this nonsense posting. At the end of the day, none of it will have any bearing on the outcome from the C&A team. They only look at the facts.

People have been warned / asked to stick to on topic posts and only add evidence. Just because official warnings / infractions hasn’t happened yet doesn’t mean they won’t.

We do these things as we have time / are able. If people wanna throw mud after the warning to stay on topic, then they’ll likely get what’s coming when we have a few extra minutes to spare.

I believe in the mp he got with the punishment, there is an explanation how to appeal. If what you're saying here is true he should appeal.
in my experience ka is usually willing to listen if people are asking nice.

I don't think accused is ranching

you've listed 1vs1 games on EUROPA map. Seriously that's such an easy map. It's not like you can be having a good win ratio on this map in 1vs1.
Some of the game listed are a bit more complex, but mainly the games he is playing are on easy map with easy settings.

Most of his games played on his last pages are not against low ranks.
you're listed around 20 games, but in the same time frame he finished those 20 games, he played more than 60 games, and they aren't all against low ranks
Lot of them are against lieutenant, captain, major and some more.

It's not forbidden to invite a few low ranker to your game, and it shouldn't be.
If 90% of your games you're inviting low ranks on complex map, sure that's a case.
It's definitely not the case here.
