I'm playing a game where my opponent seems to be missing a large number of turns...its trench so I haven't won yet and its taking eons. What are the rules, limits for missed turns. Here is the game I am referring to:

I'm not claiming its intentional. I don't know this player (he joined a public game I put out there).
I know about 3 consecutive...isn't there a limit to overall misses too? The thing is, when you miss that many turns against a half decent player, you won't win unless its a 100+ round game or something like that...but the cleanup will be long.

There is no limit on total number, only consecutive misses. Beyond that depending on settings, you might have resign option once you get to certain round / dominance of troops

I seem to recall people being kicked for missing too many turns and it was not three in a row...but maybe I am remembering incorrectly.
