Who doesn't love a bit of assassin action on the island of Jamaica?

Well if like me your a lover of killing your targets in the Caribbean this might just be the tournament for you!

Rules

Each player will start with 3 lives if you are assassinated you will lose a life . Have no lives and you can't accumulate points from future sets of games that tournament round.
once 8 players have no lives. We will cull the bottom X players so we have a multiple of 8 players left in the tournament e.g.
we have 16 signups there will only be 2 rounds bottom 8 players will be cut, then finals.
28 signups 4 rounds 4 cut, 8 cut, 8 cut, final 8. etc.

If you have any lives left at the end of each round they will be added to your score and you will start the next round with 3 + half the lives from the round before.
scores reset each round.
tiebreaker is number of win points,
then previous round points,
then time signed up to tournament.

Games will be sent out 5 at a time with random opponents. so no 2 games are likely to be the same. Will continue sending 5 games until 8 players have no lives.

Final 8 will play until a player has 15 points. Each player will start with points equal to half the lives they had left in the penultimate round.

all halving is rounded up

Invites will be sent twice after that you lose all your lives.

I have a few queries:

Each player will start with 3 lives if you are assassinated you will lose a life . Have no lives and you can't accumulate points. (no more games that tournament round)

If you are sending out 5 games at a time then if someone loses their first 3 games and win the 4th will they get no points for that one?

When you say points do you mean lives or do you gain extra points for winning?

Does one round consist of 5 games, or are their several sets of 5 games?

you will accumulate points for all games you start in but you won't get any more games sent in that round.

points are separate from lives. Except when a round ends when you get some bonus points for having lives left.

there are several sets of 5 games until 8 players have no lives except in the final which I realise I haven't worked out how we have a winner
