The Mafia's advantage is that they know who the others are, and can try to work together and protect each other. A 1-person Mafia would be a Serial Killer. We could have both.

I don't think I've been in a game before where the Mafia doesn't have a name. Maybe it's a prison gang?

As I said I would usually be strongly against lynchin day 1, zero info and as u said would end up being against fellow townies interests. However I think Dunk made a newbe mistake, unitentionally revealed himsell as an "scum", I'm not 100 percent mafia=scum since I have never played this format (Only real life and with werwolfs instead of mafia, but I guess is kind the same).

I don't think there is only 1 mafia with 24 players seems like a lot, Maybe there is like a mafia leader and "scums" that do the dirty work. But I have no idea.

It could be that dunk is inexperienced not sure but that is the only thing that jumps out to me, usually day 1 ends with a lot of blah blah. This is the only game where we've had some sorta lead, whether or not its BS or not who knows. I'm okay with ending the day with a no lynch, just to see who gets killed then we can go from there. Just saying if I get killed, full send @Ragian and Dunk. I would hope they wouldn't make it that obvious though and night kill someone else.

The first day is generally chaos. There is little or no concrete evidence to go by, so people tend to pick apart every statement to look for a reason to vote for one person over another.

As Ragian is deflecting votes off of Dunk90 either they could be in the Cosa nostra together or Rag is Dunks bitch in here.

This looks bad to me. You want people to vote for me and then you jump on the bandwagon? FoS Loose I'm withholding my vote till everyone has checked in. (It's important to see who's lurking, who's scumarining, who's playing a role trying not to say much, etc.)

I'd also like to add that I'm not against lynching D1. In my opinion, that's the best way of getting information for the long run because we can analyse in hindsight who jumped on, who tried to protect, and what not. If we don't lynch D1, we're effectively playing D1 again D2 but most likely with fewer townies.

I was asking to be guided. I'm new to this game. I saw a bold sentence. GO FORTH AND KILL THE SCUM. I didn't know that meant mafia at that time. I admit, it does looks suspicious. But I assure you, I'm not a mafia member. I wouldn't be that stupid if I was. But I am definitely scum. I got 15 years for arson. If I'm not considered scum, I don't know who is. Just so you know, I'm innocent of those charges. I was in Portland at the time, torching police cars. Oops

I think someone's ability is coming into play already during the day.
I can choose whether or not to share it, it's a little cryptic but for the interest of the innocent majority I think I will share it and get your insight. I don't want to discourage whomever is sending me this message - it could be genuine info that is useful - or it could be a red herring I guess, but if it's real it points to 3rd party roles in here that are neither scum nor town and could have their own win condition that could potential harm town or possibly not, but I think it's useful information to consider as the day progresses so here it is.
