looking at this, can you explain what the point system does here? in the first phase, we're playing until we eliminate people and are left with 64 players. then round 2 is a round robin for elimination also. i'm not seeing a use for the points.

The point side is only to determine who gets a bye when we would have odd number of players remaining from a round to another.

Once we reach the 64 mark then point system is no longer needed.

For round 3 we had odd player anmount and had to go through a quick draw between the top scorers (5 players had 6 points), random.org picked one to receive a bye for round 3, while you are under a bye you won’t score for that round, but that is not a big deal.

13 matchup still ongoing, so far 5 players eliminated in this Round 5, currently down to 67 remaining players, with the remaining matchup we have some potential more elimination;

smegal69 is 0-2 and fighting hard in his home game KCII to survive, losing that one will send him home.

catnipdreams as well will be under pressure and must win Draknor (home map) to survive.

HotShot53 vs Paul Tabinor got Hive as random 3rd map, HotShot will need to secure that map to stay with us as the other 2 games looks on Paul’s pockets.

the match between c c & JJ41375 will end up 2-1, both are moving on.

aalii need to win the random map (baseball) to keep playing here, he is so far losing 0-2.

Dukasaur & luxbock as well will move on to the next round, this match will end 2-1.

shoop76 & overlander still having their 3 games ongoing, not predictable winner for now.

Loose Canon & pmchugh match looks favorable to Loose Canon, Salem’s Switch sounds like the game to not lose for pmchugh.

ultraman & groovysmurf match should end 2-1, let’s see in few rounds, but I believe both should be moving on to the next round.

TeeGee is going to kick Mageplunka69 after Round 5, don’t see TeeGee losing his map (Hive), currently winning 2-0.

updalions & molespe match to end 2-1, both to move on as well.

Both, fc1966 & aaronvollrath seems to handle their home map well enough to get their ticket for the next round.

2 games remaining, one is between Paul Tabinor vs HotShot53, HotShot saved his ticket for the next round and should win the Hive game.

The other game is between shoop76 vs overlander and so far shoop76 is losing 0-2, he must win that Three Kingdom of Korea, so far he is leading but the cash are at 15 and overlander will cash this coming round.

Last game just completed and with shoop losing 0-3, since this is bringing us down to 63 remaining players, I will draw a lucky loser spot between the eliminated player from this last round.

This should happen Friday, and will hope to get the Round of 64 knockout stage games out no later than Saturday.
