This is a great idea. Let everyone be able to send invites to games. It is a silly thing to have it as a premium perk.


As for retention, CC seems to go out of its way to do everything to keep retention low.

The suggestions is here for a reason. Instead of flippant answes as to why they can't do something they should easily be able to do is this day of tech, the brass should be polite, respectful and at least show understanding.

Ie listen to your customers.

I've toyed with the idea of creating a competing site. Myself and a couple others have offered free help to make some of the improvements mentioned here.

I think the biggest difficulty is getting maps made that would hinder growth/retention. But that might be the approach to go to try and hold onto the player base that is still interested AND build it effectively into a thriving space again.

Oddly I actually enjoyed getting a couple but also don't care about having them. I have joked about wanting to pawn them.

If freemiums could have 1 speed game a day they might keep coming back, but if they join 4 6player games and come back next day or 2 they have nothing to do and lose interest. Keep them interested and the site will grow. Let them do nothing and they will leave, and yes, let them invite friends.
