@Traf and Vot: If I was cult, I don't put the second vote on Traf there. Nor do I back off as quick. I'd save the vote for last in case I needed to push a quick lynch through and as recruiter I would be pushing my recruit for BT to gain town points by now. Read back through EWs posts D2, see what he said about Vot yourself.

You really should. Some humility is needed in order to play well.
You've been dominating and de-railing the game since the beginning, claiming you had everything figured out. You were 98% sure it was Traf back on day two, but never had anything remotely resembling a solid case against him. I asked repeatedly, but you could never provide any logical justification for your accusation.

I've pondered over this and was hoping to see more people jump on responses. I'm not sure if Ragian is trying to elicit responses from prime suspects, but I'm the first to respond either way because two days is not a lot of time for multiple pivots and I dont want to panicvote.

I think a Strike lynch is a meh idea. I have said before that Strike was a prime recruit candidate because he had no heat on him and for that reason I think a BT on him tomorrow - pending lynch and vig result - would be a logical way to address his situation.

If we would be in lynch recruiter or lose, the BT might be better elsewhere. Otherwise, it would have been a good idea to BT strike because he has been a quiet towny constant. If he was recruiter, it's not a hassle. If he was the recruiter, big win.

Now by virtue of posting this, all of the above becomes insignificant because a recruiter reads along. But my TLDR is, I wouldnt mind a BT on strike for him to lead the day but I would mind a lynch on this day, I think. I'll vote with town though, not to worry there.

I have admited my mistakes like suspecting Charle and voting swang. But you can't admit you have got no clue still you fill the forum with nonsese. That was a strange day. I was so strongly about lynch and vig so for a moment I said ok I will no vote there will be a vig, so we just lose 1 player. So i took a nap when I woke up I saw the deadline hour has actually passed at least to my understanding. And I found out really weird Swang didnt say anything at L-1 (Which he could have saying back up vig . would have been corroborated by Charle) So I panic voted as I found it was weird for him to not say anything at that point. turns out we were wrong but thankfully the Vig saved the day

We misslynched Swang (I take the blame for the Hammer) and he turned out to be a back up vig.

The Charle Flamed EW (Actually saved us or we wouls have been in the horrendous 4v3 scenario i dreaded).

Then we have the Scene

A blood curdling scream is heard through the night. A flamethrower is heard and another scream not from this world. "YOU'LL NEVER TAKE ME ALIVE!"

EW - (Nauls - Converted has been torched!


An unlikely hero has found the flamethrower abandoned.

With 7 alive it takes 4 for majority!

Day 3 has begun!

First EW was killed - Its pretty safe to assume Charle torched him - As otherwise someone would ahve counterclaimed or torched Charle.

Then at the end it says "an unlikely hero has found the flamethrower abandoned"

So for me there are 2 options:

1) Charle was converted his FT was abandoned and someone find it
or
2) Child was the back up vig maybe he did had a FT and someone picked it up but can't use it while Charle remains the Vig.

In both scenarios we should have a vig today anyway either Charle or the "unlikely hero"

I think there is only one flamethrower in play (just like in the movie) and DDS designed the gameplay so that if the vig was killed or converted the FT would move to the back up vig (Swang). But here back up vig Swang was already lynched just before Charle was converted..hence the "an unlikely hero has found the flamethrower abandoned"

But the real question is, if the FT could be found by anybody and be used unending nights by any remaining townie (when the original FT user is killed/converted), then why would there be a "back up vig" in the first place?

Could it be that Charle got to use the flamethrower only twice (2 vig kills) and Swang "back up vig" got to use it only once after that (ONLY three vig kills in total)?

Charle said something about that (before N2) :

Guys, you were all wrong and this is going south for town. I will probably get converted tonight.

Not going to say more, but I am Mac and it is better for Town to know this before I get lynched. Now do with this what you think is best.

Reasons for the Pixar burn was:
I needed to get the message out that we have a Vig. There were no real clues at end of day 1. Pixar was busy in real life, did not contribute much and as town we needed votes and activity.

I am still very convinced that Traf is playing this brilliant, I think he waited for this post and knew I was vig, just needed the confirmation. I must say, I am disappointed in Strike's comments about me not being the Vig. I deliberately posted a few times as if I do not know any of the Vig's powers to try and keep the attention away from me.

So, you can lynch me and loose my power tonight, or we can use it one more time as the night actions happens first.

So, you can add me at this stage as a confirmed townie, probably will be converted tonight but in the same boat as Deg and Ragian. This makes the sums looks better and closer to getting the Thing. We need the Vig kill tonight to get the numbers down, and Traf's reasoning not to do so is very scummy to me.

I will vote what town decides, and please, if I still live, let's decide on the vig kill tonight. Time is running out though.

Traf, I honestly like your post and it confirms town for me, but there is another kink.

There is a very good chance that D3 will have a Vig as well, even if I am converted. Therefore, with a lynch and a vig today, will leave us with 4 players and 3 shots on D3 (BT, lynch and Vig). It is better than 3 shots at 5 players. Don't you agree?

I mention this as I will probably be converted tonight and be part of the other team tomorrow

So in short = i think the flamer fuel tank of the FT is just 1/3 full (almost empty -just enough left for 1 FT vig kill) and "the unlikely hero" gets to use it.

Okay but do you actually think Son!c is the recruiter or just being arrogant and a sore loser refusing to admit he was wrong? I get it. If it was Child's Flamethrower then why not have that line in the lynch scene?

Recruiter can only be me, Vot or Son!c. Recriit could be anyone except you. However, the scene to me strongly points towards Charle having been recruited.

I guess there's no point in dragging this out.

I have the flamethrower, and I'm told I can use it.
To me, that means that Charle was recruited.

Looking at Vot and Strike's posts, there are minor things for both that could be incriminating, but I don't see anything conclusive.
Sonic appears slightly muted after the Traf BT, but may already be building up his next 100% sure can't-miss case on Strike.
This nice thing is that it doesn't matter - town wins either way. (As long as Charle is the recruited)

No matter who we lynch today, I'll vig Charle tonight.
If the lynch flips town, then the Thing will get one more recruit. At that point, it will be 3v2.
On D4, we BT either Strike, Vot, or Sonic (one of them will have been lynched today), then we will know who the recruiter is and can lynch him.
Vig is no longer needed at that point. Just BT someone and vote No-Lynch if they come up clean. Repeat each day until we find the last recruited.

So, I don't know who is the Thing is, but...

I think that after the Tick Mafia, where he spewed lots of craziness, but survived to the end, he thought that his best chance to survive was to dial the crazy up to 11. But whether or not he's the Thing, I don't know if I can trust him to follow the plan when it's 3v2, so I think it's better to remove the wild-card from the deck.

Or, the Thing could just come clean and we could finish this up.
