Where did the fun threads go?
Everything is political. Can we go back to talking about kicking people in the dick? Or making fun of people's bad ratings? Duks ancient age? Poop?!

Where it goes 'off the rails' is when "self-appointed volunteer assistant campaign managers" (SAVACMs) come around and actually have strongly-favored candidates and then try to sway election results with endless, worthless cut & paste factoids.
Yes, Dems and Repubs (& sometimes 'others') are both guilty of this.. but Libs are somewhat worse because they adopt a shrill, humorless, virtue-signalling, sanctimonius tone while ignoring their own hypocrisy, biases and double standards.
As the old joke goes:
Q: What's the difference between a Republican and a Democrat?
A: Republicans are Smug, Selfish, Greedy, Racist, Combative, Manipulative Liars...
...while Democrats are Smug, Selfish, Greedy, Racist, Combative, Manipulative Liars ...and total Hypocrites about it.

So aside from funny tickle anus video, i find politics, personally, the least funny or fun topic to ever grace this forum, but since it's just a common topic and everyone has an opinion on that subject whereas being funny requires you to have personality, I'm pretty sure this section is just dead.
