So much under-the-radar steath going on in this village...
It is tempting to seek a Confession in the dark, quiet, murky depths... but where? Each silent shadow is as random as the next.

Besides, the noisy ones don't scream for attention without some good reason: (DDS, Sonic, ...and to a lesser extent, EW, LC)

...and the in-between ones, They may be most dangerous of all. Not too loud, Not too quiet, so just right, right? ...or just totally wrong?

Maybe I should ignore behavior problems and activity levels and just seek to establish the Towniness of public roles (At this point: swang: LC, DDS, and Devante)

I must accept the likelihood that the next confession may seem somewhat underwhelming in comparison to Day 1's stupendous success... Of course, it would be so awesomely 'kewl' to nab the BBW herself himself, but even just finding another confirmed Townie would be a great benefit too. An active player that we know is using his mind and powers for good can help to show truly scummy behavior in sharp contrast.

If only I could channel my inner-Torquemada and make you ALL confess... but alas, that cannot be.

A few more weird points to consider:

• After this, I'm almost vanilla, and the only other hope for mod-intel is possible secret roles (Seer, Little Girl, etc). Those roles will have there own challenges in effective communication (how to be believed, ...but not targeted). Besides, actual fake intel may also be created and released. Is the Scandal Monger an example of this?
• The rest of the game is basically just random guesses on the probability curve... and perhaps some psychology, but don't trust or rely on that.
• New players, do have a real advantage, since confusion can often be feigned and mistaken as innocence...
but come on, really: everybody already knows how to lie, keep quiet, and play dumb.

• For some reason, LC's defense of strike doesn't seem that scummy to me... I guess because I didn't think strike was particularly scummy then either.
• DDS not wanting to waste a Confession, because he says he is Town, is actually a Townish position, though also one that is very easily exploited by scum...
• If I did a repeat of yesterday and confirmed a public role, I think I would pick Devante, because the Lord's power in a wolf's hands could screw up Town, late in the game...

• Ironically, Sonic is as hard to read as a player who never posts. Yes he could easily be scum, but what good evidence do I have. Last game, his nonsense went down to the core, but if he was a wolf, it could just float over the surface like sheep's clothing.
• EW's behavior really did give me the fantods repeatedly on Day 1... I can't fully explain it, but it is the mystery that puzzles me the most. So...

I actually have a hard time believing Sonic is vanilla, given the 0 pressure and the amount of absurd roles in this setting. Could be wrong given his playstyle, but the walling of our lurkers/inactives and the odd push, and then making me choose as the tie breaker is all... way too odd, plus of course, Roogens death. Just a hunch, gonna stick with it.

I dont like fusi's relative absence but this is mostly meta-y.
I think Sonic's play doesnt match with his previous game but never doubt someone who changes his playstyle. I think Sonic is also perfectly able to fake his gameplay if he were scum and dont think it's too indicative. He probably attracts attention from investigative roles regardless.
Votanic - yes I am actually including you on this - if you survive too long, maybe you pulled a filthy gambit day 1. Evaluate Votanic when this game gets close to a loss for town.

You're overreacting to something I said in passing Vot, also I forgot about that part in that case yeah kinda my bad but I still think swang should use his barber razor on someone of his choosing rather than on a confirmed somebody. It helps in forcing people to choose sides.

To clarify, say Strike was the confessor and brought a wolf to justice. If strike is alive in the final 3 players of the game, isn't it suspicious that wolves never killed a confirmed townie? I'm saying that if you are ever alive in the super late game, to re-evaluate your other play. I'm not saying you're town, you're as confirmed as I am.

On a completely unrelated note, it seems inflation has made the cost of living for this lord substantially higher than was expected or foretold by my dutiful finance minister. Unfortunately, due to this I shall have to raise taxes by 18%. Also of note, due to the increasing canine excrement around your pub I shall also have to levy a tax on the carbon emiisions from so much excrement, because of course the environment of this village is of the upmost concern for this lord. And I do say good sir it is quite unsightly. Shall we say a 22% additional tax? Very well then all is in good order. I shall send my tax minister Trudeau over to collect. Given timing constraints I think I shall send both my courier and tax minister over at the same time, they do so like to work together on most matters. But let us not cast the first or seventh stone as they say.
