Everyone you've ever heard of has been bought and paid for by Russia and China except for Trump. By some magical miracle he's a perfect genius with large hands and no connection to Russia even though many of his policies during his term, as well as his rhetoric benefit Putin directly... it's everyone else that has a connection to Putin. Trump def hasn't had many of his business ventures secure large loans from Russians and for sure wasn't heavily in debt to Russians before he was even in politics.

  His messiah complex became so acute that he returned to Russia in 2021, even though he faced arrest, because he believed he was about to take over the country - during his trial he actually told the judge she would be arrested after Putin died! Like many low-level western peasants, he has spent the last 20 years believing Putin is days away from dying of some exotic disease.
  
  A man of average to slightly below average intelligence who was plucked from the crowd by the U.S. to be the stand-in opposition leader. Conned into a messiah complex, he gave his life for his delusions, and for the shareholders of Raytheon, Inc. All that said, Nutty Nalvany did have some interesting positions:

- Supported an invasion and conquest of Ukraine back in 2012 ... backtracked after 2014, within days of Western leaders starting to talk about Ukraine more publicly
- Opposed same-sex marriage ... stopped talking about that shortly after American politicians "evolved" on the issue

He had no coherent ideology. His only ideology was "I'm Not Putin and I'll Parrot the West." And he cashed in on it. Nutty Nalvany was Russia's Lyndon LaRouche.

Oh yeah, I almost forgot - during the Russian war against Georgia (before Navalny started getting his NATO paycheck) Navalny criticized Putin for acting too gently. He said Russia should carpet-bomb Tblisi. He wanted to vaporize entire neighborhoods of Georgian women and children. This is whom you're mourning.

If you met him any day of the week and didn't know his name you'd be screaming "MAGA Russian Genocidal Fascist!" at him.

The Russian government considered him a joke. The Russian opposition considered him a joke (they even expelled him from the main opposition party; he had to start his own that grew to a whopping 5,000 members). But in the west, Nutty Navalny was a Bodhisattva.

Navalny led a group that had, at most, 5,000 members. He was never an "opposition leader." He was an anti-Putin blogger. The West merely promoted him because the main anti-Putin Russian opposition party -- the CPRF-- is the continuation of the Communist Party of 1917-1991 which is both anti-Putin and anti-NATO. And the second largest party, SRZP, is also both anti-Putin and anti-NATO.

They, together, hold more than 100 seats in the State Duma and their deputies are daily denouncing Putin (without winding up in Siberian prisons). But you never hear about them because they're not the kind of opposition the West wants to acknowledge. The West wants an opposition leader who is not only anti-Putin but also pro-Raython/pro-Boeing. So they promote a low-level crook - convicted of money laundering and embezzlement - who is completely obscure and unknown in Russia itself.
