Favorite HOT sandwiches

Post by jusplay4fun »

What are your favorite HOT sandwiches?

Here are my two current favs:

1) Almost any well-prepared and freshly made cheeseburger*

2) and a Philly steak and cheese. There was a local place that made great one, and the guy was from the NY/NJ area. He retired and the place went downhill. So now I go for the ones at Jersey Mike's, a chain, but they have GREAT subs. **

Their day of giving is TODAY. https://www.jerseymikes.com/

*P.S. When I grill my own burgers, with charcoal and wood chips, using fresh ground beef, 80-85% lean, they are AWESOME, even if I say so myself.)

**btw: When I see a deli slicer when I walk in, I expect good deli sandwiches. I am rarely disappointed using that guideline.

Reuben (pastrami, corned beef or turkey) absolutely. Make a batch of homemade sauerkraut last month so ate a lot of reubens!

French dip made with corned beef or pastrami and grilled shrooms.

Burgers, of course...my fave is the ones that have ham, bacon, egg and all the toppings AND a good old chili burger.

Last weekend at the coast I had an Exploding Weiner  It was a sandwich!! Lol. I enjoyed ordering it, loudly, in a crowded bar. Here's a pic of the menu...it was tasty

Toasted English muffin, egg with runny yolk, 3 slices of bacon eaten at 2am while high as f*ck on some legal weed.

Nashville hot chicken sandy, with pickles.

Tri Tip sando on sourdough roll dipped in butter then grilled with some au jus or spicy bbq sauce.

Monte Cristo. But it has to be done right, crispy on the outside, molten on the inside. Don't bring me a soggy mess.

Yesterday evening, I enjoyed my Philly steak and cheese, on white bread. And I only had a regular size and did not over-DO it. I enjoyed every bite and my money went to a GOOD Cause, TOO. :D =D> We got there before 5:00 and beat most of the crowd there at the closest one to me. The line was steady while we enjoyed our sandwiches there. My wife enjoys the Chicken Philly. :D

Their commercials with Danny Devito are GREAT..!

Please tell me you don't make your Reubens with mustard....

It's gotta be with Russian dressing (or Thousand Island)....

Thought your favorite hot sandwich is a weiner in the bun, with copious amount of mayo?
