I remember when he took office. The paper that day with the huge Carter face on front went straight in the round file. Wasn't a fan.

Seems like a fine human being, but so are millions of others on their way out....my two brother in laws, a close friend, a neighbor....

My Finnish grandmother will be 99 in a month. She was 14/15 and living in Viipuri, Finland(now Vyborg, Russia) when the Soviets invaded and overran her family farm of many generations during the Winter War.
She looks great for her age but gets meaner every year lol.
It's wild to think about what it must be like having lived through all the history she has.
