Comets and Penguins battle for number 1 seed , Comets have games in hand , so are favourites , Penguins would need to lose all their games to fall further than 2
Firebirds and Crunch have 3 and 4 , again , would need to lose out to fall to 5
Marlies in 5 , 1 win secures that , the above to go higher
Wolfpack in 6 , can only go to 5 if marlies lose out and they win
Islanders in 7 , Monsters in 8 , if both win out , they will be in playoffs
Looking in , Rocket need to win out to secure a berth in the posr season
