Strike was a future danger to scum even if he hadn't really done much so far and he was as likely as anyone to be jailkeeper.Extreme Ways wrote:I didnt particularly townread strike but strike was not really doing anything in this game. I'd contend that a scum Ew would figure better n2 with 3 town already down, than wait, particularly if a scum Ew had a ready cooked excuse of strike elimination just throws suspicion on me.
Also a scum Ew would be the most obvious investigation target for a detective so a scum Ew has the most disincentive to recruit.
We are talking hypothetically about a scum Ew though aren't we?

I think you hit the nail right on the head here and I agree completely. I wanted to reply almost the same by saying "the reason that I am still alive is that our jailkeeper is protecting me, or at least I hope so". Scum would rather try to find jailkeeper than a confirmed vanilla townie.Loose Canon wrote:Strike was a future danger to scum even if he hadn't really done much so far and he was as likely as anyone to be jailkeeper.Extreme Ways wrote:I didnt particularly townread strike but strike was not really doing anything in this game. If jailkeeper flips coin n1 as to whether to jail Charle n1 then whatever the result jails Charle alternative nights, scum leaves Charle in game till jailkeeper is gone.

"Pix was instinctive - I was wrong"Loose Canon wrote:Charle, convinced me with his - don't lynch me I'm town after he'd played a bit fast and loose with the rules. As I said I think he is inherently an honest guy. Up till then I thought it was worth exploring and I was in tune with max at that point.
Pix was instinctive - I was wrong.
Sonic I'm still suspicious of.
Dev I was suspicious of, suspicions neutralised by his responses.
Traf I'm still suspicious of but to a lesser degree than sonic.
Strike I had suspicions on - I was wrong.
I sensed a mislynch on jfm - nothing else I was trying was getting any traction for a D2 lynching.
Voted max, because could be scum, and better lynch than jfm.
Have I not explained why I was voting for who when I voted.
3 vanilla towns down at end of D2 made Ew logical choice to vote for d3 particularly if another vanilla went down n2 - another vanilla did go down. I'll admit I was while waiting for d3 to start thinking either strike or Ew if another vanilla down.
My vote on Ew is pretty firm d3.
Sonic though is firming himself top of my most likely 2nd scum again - don't really see what he is trying to do except protect Ew, or if Ew doesn't flip scum give himself a told you so type of defence.
I'm not afraid of being wrong - ask questions see the reactions, sooner or LATER they will be the right questions eliciting the wrong reactions.

But there is no world in which avoiding a mislynch is more guilty than joining one.

Im calling you buddy for exactly that reason and now the only thing you can come up with is that me and EW are the 2 scum because we both call you buddy?Loose Canon wrote:Ew called me right back at you "buddy".
Now sonic is calling me "buddy"
Thing is I'd bet my game right now that Ew is the best lynch d3.
I wouldn't go quite so far as that with sonic.
But as a gambling man I'd stick a reasonable sum at reasonable odds on the forecast.
Ew is the best lynch d3 (with sonic the sloppy second)

Famous last Strike words.strike wolf wrote:I'm mostly in agreement with Son!c. I'll add that one of the Scum tells I remember for Loose is that he tends to be more wishy washy as scum than he is as town. His vote jumps around more in general when he's scum.

You killed Strike because of the quote i posted just now. A town loose would have commented that immediatly but you didn't. You ignored that quote 100% because its the truth and the reason why you killed him last night. So you act like you didn't see it just like real murderers do.Loose Canon wrote:I can with honesty play I suspect you more than you suspect me all d3 long sonic. And maybe we are equal, maybe one of us has zero real suspicion on the other.
There's 2 scum to be found.
Fact is Ew lynch is the correct d3 town play.

Lynching pix was the correct play, lynching strike was the correct play, lynching me was the correct play... do i need to continue?Loose Canon wrote:Ew lynch needs 4 of Charle, dev, Kong, Traf, max to join me. Or sonic if town and reluctantly joins if/when say 3 of the 5 have.
Cold light of day3 it's the correct play.
