Why is the "N" word and its variants singled out?

I don't understand why this particular form of bigotry/racism is singled out. Shouldn't there just be a general policy regarding all forms of racism/bigotry?

I mean there are many other words that would fit into this category. Bigoted & racist words for all manner of races, religions, sexual orientations etc. exist.

Can someone explain why this bigoted/racial word gets special treatment?

Depends on your interpretation of the word variants. I interpret it to mean any racial vilifying word.
Racism has no place on a world wide site such as CC. If you see a reportable offence, go straight to the C&A forum or send me a PM.

Some words are just fun to say when amongst friends or being pissed at dice. ltiyank calls me a cheating f4ggot at least once a week, and sometimes wins those same games once the dice turn back haha. But yea, it's best to not have the N word floating around here or anywhere. Maybe it seems dumb, especially since I doubt there's many actual black people on the site but still, speaking as someone born and raised in the south, and all my ancestors are from the south, as fun as it is to call your friend's my N's, probably best to keep it off this site.

Italians used to be considered non white when my wife's great great grandparents immigrated, and My great great grandparents weren't exactly welcomed with open arms during the Irish potato famine.
