No, its not they do memorialize him especially at the start, either way I loved the movie and I don't let that little thing ruin it for me, but it's bothered me since I saw the movie, and I've never really been able to bring it up with a crowd of people who would understand what i'm saying.

i wasn't saying that they didn't memorialize him...i'm saying that they may have memorialized him for the wrong reason...
As far as reading V for Vendetta, I delayed seeing the movie for a long time so I could read it but in the end I just decided to go ahead and watch the movie
