I was on TV on Meridian Tonight when I was 5. I got a big dollop of suncream splodged in my face by Fred Dinenage. What a legend that guy is.

I'm a musician, and have appeared a couple of times on various local shows. My sister was a model, still works for Sutherland Models, and was on Canada's Next Top Model this week as a supervisor of the younger models. And my son is an actor with many appearances in movies and Tv shows...he's Sam the Plow Guy on Men in Trees.....check his link for shows you may have seen:http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0648153/
I tease the hell outa him cuz he was the security guard in XMen 2 that Rebecca Romaine has her way with in the mens room.....then she stabs him in the butt! cracks me up.......

I was on Costa Rican tv once, the camera caught me milling outside our bank the year after a botched robbery ended up in a botched hostage situation (god bless the Costa Rican police, they need it) where 7 people died. I didn't really do much, but my host family thought it was awesome, regardless.

A friend of mine caught a home run in the left field seats at Dodger Stadium. I was sitting next to him, so we both made the news later that night for about 10 seconds.

Ronaldinho wrote:and i HATE liverpool scummers, lol. But becuase the ticket was going to waste, i just agreed to go.

...and Gerrard scores an absolute belter from about 40yards out, anyway in the excitment of the goal we all jumped up and cheer'd. I dident want my friends to know i was supporting liverpool so i just dident mention it again.
Suck it up cupcake  You're a closet Liverpool fan and you know it! Who wouldn't cheer when a legend like Gerrard scores? :D

Yes: I've been on tv a few times. I was part of a group in high school who were interviewed about the Info Tech wing at our high school - it was such a kickarse school for IT that Bill Gates even knew about it and I'm in Australia! More recently I was part of the audience for Who Wants to be a Millionaire. Can't remember the rest.

Of course people who haven't been on tv aren't going to post in here...there's nothing to brag about is there?

A news channel was doing a report on game conventions. I was part of a minature's tournament when they we're taping. I even had a line. "We're going to lose", and my team did.

Well, I've written and help write the odd thing for television... I've been in the paper a few times (nothing big) and I imagine I've been in the background for the local news. But it's the people that I live with who are on TV every night (well, their hands, writing and voices anyway...).
In heaven... Everything is fine, in heaven... Everything is fine, in heaven... Everything is fine... You got your things, and I've got mine.

... There a "Local Scoop" show out of Osaka I was on three years back. I introduced the city I live in to the rest of Japan (wander about the city speaking with the announcers while I pointed out things of interest).

... It was rather odd. We'd shoot a segment wherein we're walking by a river and I'm explaining how the fireflies come out in droves during late May... then the director guys yells "CUT!" (It's the same in Japanese)... then we repeat the entire conversation, walking by the same river, but with a different camera angle. Most annoying. The first time through I felt pretty normal, the second or third time through I felt quite ridiculous.

... And we did this for each segment - there were 5 segments to the show. A long-ass day.

Haha, I can imagine the frustration of you just saying the same things over and over...over and over...over and over...
