Yeah, Hugh's computer blew up so there's a slight delay, but I'll be starting Week 6 this weekend.

I guess San Diego is forfeiting to Pittsburgh since we are still waiting? Would rather play San Diego, but this tourny has been going on forever due to teams not joining.

I say we play it out anyways. If teams don't join then its an automatic win for the other team. All we really need is 12 active teams by the end of the season so that we can have the playoffs.

Well, it was fun for a couple weeks, until the deadbeats took over. Since nothing has been updated here in 2 weeks and i haven't played a game in this tourney in what must be a month, i think it's safe to say that this is abandoned. There needs to be someway to give negative feedback to those who deadbeat in a tourney. Ruins an entire tournament while deadbeating a game doesn't end the game, just slows it down for 3 turns. Ah well...thanks again Hugh and AK.

we, the New orlean saints have been in our game for over 10 days now and the other team has yet to join, WTF is going on. this is starting to be a waste of time. It should be a forfiet, this is the second time i have tried to contact the TD with no respnse last itme was 3 days ago i personally pm AK. pls callour game a forfiet or whatever, we are just tired of our time being wasted.

tja, have you checked the first post of the thread? Each team has been given 7 days to join, or else it is a forfeit. You had 7 days to join, now please give the other team 7 days to join.

2 weeks forget that, thats ridiculous, you have allowed this tourney to get out of hand. First, this was the first we had heard from you in over 6 weeks. i think this needs to end. and that is not what the orginal rules stated. we already had one team forfeit, that was 3 days, you cant keep changing the rules to fit YOUR tourney. its not fair. This tourney is a complete failure. You trying to salvage what you can is very, very sad. but whatever, WE WILL DO WHAT WE ARE SUPPOSED TO AND CONTINUE TO SUFFER. Not once have we been deliquent in joining, playing or anything now, because of the TD's, not the player, but TD's(who allowed this to happen and were completely disorganized)this tourney is one big piece if crap. IT IS OFFICIALLY THE WORST TOURNEY EVER, that includes whos running it, most players who fail to complete their commetments, and the overall feeling associated, with it. I FEEL WORSE FOR EVN BEING A PART OF IT. this should never have had non-premium players as well. Thanks for nothing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!And now its going on 13 days waiting for an opponent. so if we join in 1 day we still have to wiat the remainder of our 7 days plus the 7 days they get. Are you retarded????? essentially now you give them 13 days to join. WHAt A CROCK OF SHIT!!!

Yes, this tournament didn't work out very well because after a few months players stopped joining their games. But I like to finish what I start, so I changed the rules a little bit so that the teams that don't join forfeit. But both teams have only 7 days to join. Even if Team 1 joins the first day, I don't send the password to Team 2 until it's been 7 days. That way it's fair for both sides.

In the future, I'll be planning another long term League, but the teams won't be fixed. That way dropouts won't kill the tourney in the middle.

Hrm. What a botched tourney :lol:

Well I totally forgot who my teammates were. The first post is not accurate since the Jets had more people leave and reaplace than maybe any other team. Also, I have made zero effort to find a new team.

If you wanna finish this then maybe just have the captains play in a few sudden death games. Maybe smaller teams would work better for long term games idk.

One last thing. You know a tourney has been going on for too long when my game setup preferences have completely changed. I hate my home map setting now

it has now been 14 days since you sent me the orginal pm.(July 10th). Today is the 24th of july and still no one from other team has joined that is our 7 days + their 7 days, pls give them their forfeit, it is now to late for them to join. Also how can you expect us to understand the thread. You have us playing week 6 games, with week 5 games to come it makes zero sense. Pls reread your thread and correct it, because this is starting to become extremely confusing???
