The First Challenge!
After the Goblet of Fire had chosen the champions, Vykingsfan64 from BeauxBatons, Ghost_Rider from Durmstrang, and LSU Tiger Josh along with Paintball_Rat from Hogwarts, everyone was ready for the first challenge. Congratulations to all the champions.
I've pmed all four champions with the password for the first game. The specs are as follows: British Isles map, Seq/Flat/Unlimited.
First place will recieve 90 points
Second Place will recieve 75 points
Third Place will recieve 65 points
Fourth Place will recieve 50 points.
Also, I'll be gone for the next 10 days, so hopefully you guys will have finished this game by the time i get back so i can start the second challenge then

Hello everyone and welcome to my first tournament! This tournament will be based on the wizarding school game the Triwizard Cup, which was in the fourth book in the Harry Potter series. Since there has been a huge hype for harry potter since the release of the last book and latest movie, I thought a themed tournament would be pretty cool. The breakdown is as follows:

Three major wizarding schools, Hogwarts school of Witchcraft and Wizardry, Beauxbatons Academy of Magic, and Durmstrang Magical Institute hold a competition, known as The Triwizard Cup
Each school sends a number of witches or wizards as possible champions for their school, and the magical Goblet of Fire decides upon a single champion from each school. Then, these three witches or wizards take part in three highly different challenges. The witch or wizard who does the best overall in these three challenges is given the Triwizard Cup, a humoungous honor for a student in any of these three schools.
Well, this year, Harry Potter's name somehow got into the goblet of fire, and he was chosen as a 4th competitor! despite the very complex and dangerous enchantments against such meddlings, Harry became another champion, competing along with the other three champions in hopes of the Triwizard Cup.
Set Up and Game-play
I will need 19 people to sign up for this tournament, although most of them will only play 1 game. This tournament is based around the odds that the goblet of fire chooses you as a Champion for you school. All you need to do to sign for this game is to post saying you are in. You don't need to give me any preferences, as you will be randomly placed into a school.
This is how it will break down:
Once I get 19 participants, I will (100% randomly, of course) Choose one player. Lucky you! This player will be playing the Part of Harry Potter and gets an automatic birth in the second round. The other 18 players wont be as lucky.
When There are just those 18 competitors, I will (randomly again) Put 6 of them each into one of the three schools, either Hogwarts, BeauxBatons, or Durmstrang.
Each of the 6 players from each school will play 1 game of Classic/Seq./Unlim./Flat Rate. So, the 6 wizards from hogwarts will play each other, the 6 wizards from beauxbatons will play each other, the 6 wizards from Durmstrang will play each other.
The winner of each game will be dubbed the "champion" of the school.
Then, the player who was picked to be Harry Potter, along with the other 3 champions, will play Three 4-player games amongst each other, each game representing one of the three challenges.
points will be given according to what place these four players come in.
The player with the highest points after these 3 games will be dubbed the "Triwizard Cup Champion"!

Paintball_rat, congratulations, you get a free pass to the final rounds. The rest of you will have to play a 6 player game with the rest of the people in your school.
