that is rather sad, I'm sorry to hear about more drugs being passed around
I had rather hoped that after last years debacle, that there would be less/none of it, but, I guess not. I mean, I guess it makes sense, biking is hard. And, 150k, up-hill per day, for, how long, three-four weeks, there has to be a limit to the human body some time. Especially for those top guys, they train like hell, but it wouldn't surprise me if all thoise guys had at some point or another used performance enhancing drugs.

Danish riders, lol, only 1, I wonder who it could be :P

Rasmussen has had 14 checks since the start of the tour, in which he tested negative all times. Good news, got a Danish/Dutch win on the way!

oh man
today, I was watching the tour, and, those last 5k's, when it was just Rasmussen, levi, and all them.

I was thinking, if Rasmussen kicks now, these final 2k's or so, no one is going to catch him at all.
2 minutes later, 1/5 or so k's left, he does so, and crushes em all.

4 minutes lead, Michael Boogard finished 13th, great ride by all Rabo Bank members, excellent win

RaBo BanK, amazing

Levi and Alberto were finished, in that run in. now cofidis team has pulled out of the tour, Bradley Wiggins(gbr) is in that team and he could of won the time trial.

Rasmussen is kicked out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

hahaha. oh man. this is just crazyness.

Edit: Just for a little more clarification, he was kicked out by his team for his dishonesty about why he missed the random drug test or something. They didn't admit that he was blood doping, but thats what they are basically saying......

Next to be caught: Contador, Leipheimer, Evans and so on........

I'm just waiting for them to say, "Ah what the hell, everybody is cheating, lets just allow it"

I think Rasmussen has won it
today was the last day anyone had a chance, and with those three guys around him Decker, Boogard and Menchov helpinng him, non of whom are incredible climbers, but have done evrythin in their power to Rasmussen in yellow.

However, I think, now that they are out of the Pyrannees (??spelling??) hes got it, 3 minutes on Contador. Just incredible though, all those attacks. I was surprised he was able to stay up there, cause there was just a lot of attacks

wow, I missed something pretty big apperently, while I was off
dam, and, yeah, the cheating comment at the end
I agree with that 100%, 3 weeks almost straight of 150k+ days, not physically possible with performance enhancing drugs

Jens Voigt yet again on this stage, he is some rider tried his best to get rid of Bennati, because he knew he would out sprint him(Bennati that is). poor old David Millar could not keep up with the other 4. battled through this tour.

well he says he was in Mexico when he should of took the test. when an itailian reporter and ex-rider of the tour said he seen him in Italy at the time. now the team reckon he has been lying to them and have sacked him. i`m sure this story has not finished.

In Denmark this i really hughes....Everybody is talking about rasmussen. And for the moment most people think he is still innocent. That he actually was in mexico as he keep saying...Eventhoug more riders have seen him in italy..!!!

Im not sure. He says he wont show his passport and flighttickets, so he can prove he was in mexico....That I find a little stupid. Seems like he has something to hide...

But lets see what happend. This really sucks, dont know if I want to see the last stages of the tour from now on...Maybe the time trial (hoping for Cancellare from CSC)

how good was Sandy Cassar today. he crashed into a dog(right into it`s shoulder) and went flying over his handle bars and grazed his arse, back and elbow. then he went on to win the stage with a great attack with about 2.8km to go. they caught him, but did not really get on his tail, so he just went again with about 300m to go, fantastic.

Sandy Cassar was awesome. What a sweet finish for him!

I was saddened to see him reeled in with a few hundred meters left, but no one attacked beyond that, he kept his 5 yards and pulled the victory. :D

Cassar's first move was amazing! I will give him credit, he made an absolutely fantastic move. But it all comes down to the time trial.

That was exactly as I expected the TT to unfold, but it was still amazing to watch. I figured all the gaps would tighten up but the positions would stay the same.....yet for the top 3 to be THAT close is incredible.

Greg Lemond won the closest race ever by 8 seconds. This is set to be the second closest race ever, but even more notably I believe Leipheimer is closer to first than any second placer has ever been except for the Lemond record.....and he's sitting in third.

Levi said he wouldn't attack to try for second, and I believe it. If it was for first, or for the team title or something else maybe he would but in this scenario I think it will be a traditional ride into paris. Evans could only win by taking the two intermediate sprints and winning the race, which isn't going to happen. Or he could drop Contador but thats not gonna happen with the Discovery train backing him up. Assuming there are no disasters (crashes or mechanical) I don't think the positions will change, which is good. Awesome TT!!

And let me reiterate that Levi was awesome.....4th fastest TT ever is pretty amazing for him. Last year his TT's were quite subpar.

just going to watch the last 30 mins or so. the positions should stay the same though as the big sprinters don`t allow breakaways on the last day. they want all the glory of winning in Paris.

Re: le tour de France

should of bumped this on Saturday, but never mind Le Tour is here again. Cadel Evans(Australian) is favourite. i have a sneaky feeling Aljandro Valverde will win it this year. he looked very good on the opening stage. i hoping David Millar will win the Time Trial tomorrow, he seems quite confident.

It's a shame that Alberto Contador is not in this years race, as Team Astana was not allowed in the race and the UCI do not recognise Le Tour a an official race now. Levi Liepheimer joined Astana aswell, so 1st and 3rd of last years race are not in it.

I do not think they will ignore astana for long.
Did you see the team Hincapie is riding for? Look like a bunch of youths. Poor Georgie, world class, just wants to ride, top ten in the tour last year, I think, always working for someone else, and crashing in the spring classics.

unlucky David Millar, 3rd in the Time Trial yesterday and 3rd overall now.

where did Sebastien Schumacher come from, no one tipped him to win the stage.

derivative133, George Hincapie's team, Team Columbia. they have a few good young riders in their team, Mark Cavendish(Isle of Man/English) is an extremely fast sprinter and won 2 stages of the Tour de Italia. Kim Kirchen((Luxemburg)2nd place at the moment), is tipped for great things and could easily finish on the podium this year.

anyway only watching the highlights, 7pm BST, ITV 4.
