The vast majority of criminals in the United States are legal citizens, the vast majority of illegal immigrants will commit no crime other than crossing the border. Anybody who suggests the 2 automatically go together is simply displaying their prejudice rather than a true grasp of the facts.
I guess I'd be ok if someone came into your house and sat down and watched tv as long as they didn't steal anything. The FACTS are illegal immigrants should not be in this country any more than al-queda should be allowed to join the US Amy. Or me coming to your house and "set up camp".

To recap:
illegal immigrants = AL QAEDA!
the US - US ARMY!
Go to mexico city, in an instant you'll support amnesty for the illegal immigrants. Its unbelievable the situation there. And BTW very few of them commit crimes, in fact they are just as honest as the other Americans living nearby.

So what your saying is forget about fixing your own problems, come and make ours worse (think of it this way, when they get here they sign up for tax-payed-for benifets that cost more money, and they dont pay income taxes or any other payroll taxes)? By your view, if my mom died, i could go to your house and replace my mom with yours?
Tghe fact of the matter is that illegal immigrants are not supposed to be here. I believe that people should go back to their own country and come here legally. I dont mind immigrants, i just dont like the fact that immigrants are not following the proper channels to get a green card. This just means to me is you dont care enough to be a law-abiding citizen.
Im not for vigilate justice. What i ment to say is dont rely on big government. It should be up to small government is all.
yes, it need to start with the small government, and then follow up in the big house to see its get done. Dont rent or give jobs to illegal, but help the legal one that does help us. With the jobs that they do, and they do, do a good job and hard worker. So leave the legal alone and run the illegal out, and its starts with the people of the united state.

How does being illegal make them any lesser human beings? In fact, how does trying to make a better life for themselves and their family make them criminals? Should they suffer poor living conditions because the US has a piece of paper that says, in essence, "We got here first"?
Here's a question for you: ignoring the customary 'I must answer in the negative or look like a hypocritical twat' answer, what would you do if you were in a position to illegally cross the US - Mexico border and make a better life for yourself? Unless you are a person of unusually strong morals, (Unlikely, but apparently you will turn out to be ) the power of several mega-years of evolution and self-preservation will cause you to cross.
We own all your helmets, we own all your shoes, we own all your generals. Touch us and you loooose...
No, not sub-human, just illegal. As in breaking the law. I'm not even going to bother asking that you're suggesting we ignore the law in this matter; your agenda is to break all laws.

It's not a corrupt government. It's the fact the gov. had no idea they existed and they have to know that someone immigrated here. Is like sneaking into a movie theater, are you supposed to be there? No. But you are anyway.

It is a corrupt system, do you know how long it takes to get documents?
Here is a interesting fact, every year U.S. immigration fires more people then they hire, that should "speed up" the process, eh?

So you're in favor of breaking the laws? So the ends justify the means?

Its not an unjust law. Heck, why stop with the boarders! Let abolish ALL private property! I'll be over next week to hunt deer on your land. (I have to feed my kids ya know)
This land (USA) belongs to her people, not anyone who decides to cross the boarder and set up shop. For the life of me, I do not understand the logic of those who DEFEND illegal immigration. (except, of course the illegal immigrants themselves)

According to your reasoning every scrap of Land should be handed back to the Native Indians then , the original pilgrims were illegals fleeing persecution you realise. The fact is that the USA is a huge and wealthy nation that can easily accomodate a few million more people , why not just make them legal so they can pay taxes and make a contribution to the economy. In truth its not that they are illegal that upsets certain of you , its simply that they are Hispanic, its racism pure and simple.

ROFL! I don't care if they are white, English speaking Hicks! They don't BELONG here! What part of NATIONAL LAW do you NOT understand? Should all countries have open boarder policies? Cause there are a few places I wouldn't mind living. Unfortunately...the desire to be someplace doesn't give you the right to go there!

You are an idiot. Racism has nothing to do with it. It is the fact that they cross into the nation illegally, not that they are of Hispanic origins. Unless you actually live here or have visited here, don't try and say it is racism. That is just ignorance on your part.

Many countries do have open border policies, in a way. All the countries have immigration laws, but they are not as stupid and complicated as U.S. immigration laws.

Illegal immigration is 100% wrong, because it's just that, ILLEGAL. I encourage immigration as having a diverse population is one factor that makes America so amazing, but it should always be done legally. I liked Bush's moderate proposal that was a compromise between the liberal and the conservative sides, but not enough people in Congress were willing to compromise. His plan was realistic in the sense that simply deporting everybody is not practical nor is it at all possible. Deporting over 11 million illegal immigrants? That would cost millions of American tax dollars, and the Republicans say the don't like spending heavily. HA! It is horrible that 1 of every 11 Mexicans lives in America, but that's the way it goes. I am in favor of granting quick citizenship to the illegals already here, although they would have to pay a large fine to help repay some taxes they should've paud while they've lived here and they'd have to take an English language class and go through a quick naturalization process. I am in favor of a Great Wall of Mexico from California to El Paso as it would decrease the number of people able to enter illegally immensely. I also believe that it shouldn't take 10 years to gain citizenship. People should be able to complete the process in 2 years, and be able to live here legally on a visa during the citizenship process. I also think that it should be mandatory to learn some English before gaining official citizenship because my grandparents and great-grandparents were forced to stop speaking German over 60 years ago. Congress should also establish a guest worker program so agricultural businesses can hire extra staff during the harvest. Up until the '90's, the Mexican workers always returned home after working on the farms during the harvest. But then they just began staying in America rather than making the trip back home.

This long, aimless, say nothing post is a good example of our blathering about aimlessly in the dark on the Illegal Aliens problem. You idiots that listen to Bush and his smokescreen filibusters are just like the ignorant twat who posted it. A "Great Wall of Mexico" - BRILLIANT!!! Here's a news flash for you bonehead - levy fines against all who hire illegal aliens. Is that too simple for you? I guarantee if you do that it will stop the illegal immigration cold. They come here to make money, and if no one will hire them then they won't come. The hell of it is that we wouldn't even need a freakin border patrol!

Stop the name calling please, there really is no need for it !
So if the US government declared a general amnesty and all immigrants became legal tommorow do you think that would meet with everyones approval? If the borders were opened and allowed Capitalism to take its course do you think that would meet with everyones approval also ? Incidently you might want to check how to spell border before you start accusing others of ignorance

How do you know that?
Its a fair assumption I think !
There are many reasons why people are concerned about immigration, racism and the economic fallout are probably the most common.
