i got bitch slapped the last couple of rounds and this was the big one. i can see all my recent mistakes... wasting armies when i had an advantage, for instance. ah well, back to the drawing board for now.
is anyone going to stop klup from taking canada in the next two rounds? kratos, where are you? blue can't do anything from the center and i am at least two rounds from mounting any attack worth a dime.
i took mexico cause i figure yellows gonna stir something up soon so i figured the extra bonus would help i migh actually b able to break yellow or at least weaken him now so basically green and blue ull leave me alone cause my target is yellow the only reason i take ur bonus green is so u dont attack me

I think the dice gods have betrayed me though. Not just this game but my others, my dice rolls are garbage. Driving me nuts.
Still, I prefer this to the center and it looks like Blue might get that. Red is pretty powerful. Yellow could be right up there. Teal, don't know about that. Me. I just got my little corner and that's what I want for now.
I have taken the turn to do the usual thing, take Central US, I know I'm not defended that well, but I do think I have a shot at making the bonus so I can defend myself a bit better, I'm going to have a look at the map and it's players before I figure out what to do with my next turn.
well played yellow. the momentum swings your way right now...
anyway Round 13 -
I deployed in Nova Scotia and took back french canada and broke into ottawa. I think other players have little reason to break my bonus right now. Shockingly blue might hold the central usa bonus. I gotta believe someone will break it, but it looks like everyone has other issues.
I need to hold a bonus to make up some ground in the army count.
Great Job J0057 you just gave Red the Game! by not attacking him and recking at least 1 bonus he is now getting 12 per turn, and will easly reck you and greens bonus'
Well, he just did wreck both his and my bonus. Initially, I thought that red was going to continue against yellow as yellow was the more immediate threat to red and blue being the second immediate, I felt that I would have a turn to build up. Sadly, that did not happen. So 4 less armies for red's bonus.
you guys realize that the true red player left for the weekend. now if he hadn't, i believe he would have attacked northwest canada as he stated he was going to do. however, if we had allowed that to happen he would be winning right now and we would have let that happen right under our noses.
instead, yellow is dominating the game. slowly killing me first to get the french canada region, which will solidify the game for him.
blue - realize that you are never holding that territory consistantly. make a play on something else. its not happening in central usa. it never does on this map.

anyway, sorry i missed some posts. my strategy has been to leave all my extra armies on one territory and try to push yellow off my back. it's not working... he keeps coming at me. i did get some luck with the dice this round, but still can't get away from the fact that i'm dieing a slow death.
I know it isn't Kratos. It just doesn't make sense the strategy. Yellow could go straight through a lot of Western US and I don't see that being the case for what Kratos was going to do. It's very strange how this weekend has gone and how it might have gone.
well guys im back srry the guy sitting for me didnt make a planned move and when i saw that i knew trouble was coming but he saw that blue was instructed to do something and when he didnt do his part he decided why should he spread me thing and leave blue with that large bonus and green in a position to easily break me cause like teal said if i had hit yellow id b the dominate force and everyones target

if blue wanted to help with yellow id leave him his bonus but since he has no intentions of helping with yellow i need to hold off his six bonus and focus on greatening mine so i can launch an attack on yellow

i am still yellow's one and only target. in being that target, he has kept me as the bottom feeder in this game, but has allowed both blue and red to amass armies as large as his. with their recent peace treaty, they both seem to have set their sites on yellow.
i can only hope for bloodshed on all sides of that conflict for me to have a shot at getting back in this game. this round i deployed and fortified a little extra border on ottawa.
if nothing changes this round, i will be right back where i started next turn.
I know I'm pretty much out of the game, unless a massive amount of luck occurs. Red is definitely the dominant leader here so, with 11 bonus armies a turn. No one else has that kind of strength.
Since I have resigned myself to losing, I've taken a look at my habits in playing. I do like to have my armies at a point where my opponents will hit while the rest of my territory only has one territory. I need to watch this more as I'm not able to defend myself well and if an opponent does attack me, I have a big struggle regaining that territory. I feel if I had done that and made sure every area was well defended, I would have had better luck in holding Central US and this game would have been different.
It's strange though. Most strategy games I tend to be heavily defensive and always building slowly, but since I've been playing CC, I stray from that. Always looking for the quick win, which isn't my style. That has been one thing I have noticed and because of this game, it has really made me think more about things.
Still, as of now, just hanging on. Maybe I'll get extremely lucky and yellow, red, blue, and teal will have a massive war and I can sneak up and win.
Yeah, and maybe I'll win a billion bucks tomorrow.
