NES, I used to feel the same way until 1 1/2 years ago. I finally realized what I'd been missing for 14 years :wink:

I'm actually pretty proud of what I've learned just in the past couple years... I know more about music now than anyone else I've met at my age.

I know same here! (except that most of my friends are real musicians and know a little more about music than I do)

I have my uncle to thank for showing me System of a Down

The musicians around my age and area are sadly limited in their knowledge of music... they basically know everything about their genre and nothing else

same here but my friends' genre is rock and thats what we all think about anyway... except I occasionally stray into other random genres...
