New Ranking

Now that General has finally been obtained, albeit by only one individual (Alstergren), anyone have any thoughts as to if there should be a new rank to try and reach and if so, what should it be called?

More ranks have been discussed. Under More Available Ranks and Ranking Reorganization. Both were filed under 'Rejected' currently.

Hehe no problem. Lack did mention though he would be open to the idea of more ranks, be simply doesn't have the time to organize it all into something that would be appropriate. If someone would do most of the leg work, Lack said he'd definitely consider it.

Or perhaps 'Dictator'...but to make it even more interesting...there could only be one of these at the top.

But as noted, someone who has the time should look into doing the leg work explained in the topics above to get the idea off the ground.

I agree about rename the actual general to marshal, and add other minor rankings, like lieutenant-colonel... About have another ranking over 3000, I disagree. No one with more than 30% of standard games can reach that socre, I believe.

For those who believe there should be more minor ranks...get to work and put up. If you put some effort toward it, perhaps you can get others behind you also. But without a clear cut plan and action, all this is pointless talk.

I think we are reffering to army ranks in this game so ranks would porbaly be "General">"General of the armies">"Feild Marhsal

Personally, I'm more partial to "Dictator", or, for the religiously open, simply, "God"...and the idea that only ONE person gets to hold this title. Get to work, guys! --you heard Andy! I'm just gonna sit here and watch--my lazy gene has inexplicably gone active. Darn.
