How would I know? I saw neither of those two movies.
The point being that no one was saying bling-bling forty years ago...

Fine it was from Boa.
New quote
"Its human nature, we can't accept what we don't see in ourselves, we reject it, fear it, hate it and that is the begging of war"

But all I knew about that film is that it's set in Africa. I had no idea that it was set 40 years ago.

Correct, it was a quote from FMA, easily one of the finest anime ever. The movie is excellent anyone who has watched the series, well why the hell haven't you watched the movie. But if you haven't you could still watch it and understand just fine.

I though it sounded like something Steve Biko would say, but I'm very sure that you're right.

Is that from one of the Alien sequels? I'll guess Alien vs Predator.

Aw crap, that's Ghostbusters.
They say I'm disturbed. Well, of course I'm disturbed. I mean, we're all disturbed. And if we're not, why not? Doesn't this blend of blindness and blandness want to make you do something crazy? Then why not do something crazy? It makes a helluva lot more sense than blowing your f**king brains out.

Heathers wasn't terrible, then again that's partially due to Winona Ryder's influence.
