Wow, that was a lot to read. Anyway, Wicked is a good mafia player with some fairly predictable habits. However, I really don't think she's stupid enough to pick a random role off of wikipedia on day 1 and claim. The chance of a counter claim is huge, so it would be a major risk to her if she lied. I'm not putting it past her, but I really don't think she did this. So, I find her claim fairly believable.

AK is really the best bet right now because if his power is used then he's pretty much useless already anyway. I'd rather loose a townie then a jedi. And we'll learn from his death anyway.

From what I read unvote. A lot of votes have been dropped on Iceman in a very short time, he might even be lynched already so I will refrain my vote for now but what he did doesn't make sense.

I did a little calculation and Iceman isn't near to lynch quite yet so vote Iceman to up the pressure.

Fuuuuck. I just spent like an hour putting together a post, and the power went out and erased it. :cry:

Wait...I don't really trust IC. BUT if Wicked is a jedi it would make perfect sense that she would be involved in the duel.

That, as Mandy posted, would make her immune to lynching.

So, why roleclaim if your life is in no danger and put yourself in danger by role claiming?

wow sziggy, that makes completely no sense whatsoever! You don't trust IC, yet are voting me? I roleclaimed b/c I was heading to death by speed lynch. Hell no I didn't want to roleclaim on Day 1, but IC's lie didn't give me a choice. I am not involved in the duel, as I've already stated. There is more than one Jedi in this game.

FOS Freezie for pretty much demanding I quote my role PM even after I warned it could give the scum more power. Mandy said in this game quoting PM's would only help the scum, so perhaps this is all some elaborate ploy to get said info by sacrificing IC.

Well I am still going to give AK a chance to post what he has although from the way things are now as people have said the best bet looks to be to lynch ak to see what he comes up as since he claimed to be a vanilla townie now. And from the info we gain from that we can decide if we trust wicked or not.

Can we also get a vote count Mandy? I'd like to see where we are at.

I too am waiting for AK to see what he'll claim... although posting that his dog ate his reply and then disappearing again didn't help matters much. I'm still right suspicious of Wicked though... her PM does seem right, but still, could be faked. Vote stays with her for now.

Nice discussion. Whatever happens now, at least our first lynch will not be completely random.

As I said before, I consider AD's remark a joke. I don't particularly suspect him.

Wicked sounded less like she was joking, although her roleclaim looks convincing. This being my third or so game with her, I notice a trend for her to defend herself against any accusation by calling all accusers noobs. Although the other times she did it, she turned out to be town, I don't find that kind of argumentation convincing. It's not necessarily a scumtell either, but at best it's meaningless.

I tend to believe AK's claim as well, since the odds seem small that there would be any future in a mafia guy faking this kind of thing at this point in the game. Aimless, however, correctly pointed out that there are some risks to believing AK, so, even if he does tell the truth, our safest path seems to be to lynch him first and deal with Wicked tomorrow, depending on the outcome.

I'll sit on my vote until he has a chance to retype that one hour post of his though, in case he has something convincing to offer.

Mandy was vote count on the spot, but now when we need him the most...

I was thinking...one of the possibilities is that AK is a lyncher. Perhaps in the realm of star wars a lyncher could be the equivalent of a bounty hunter where the hunter has a specific target. This would make sense. Maybe AK saw that wicked was in question and his roleclaim would be enough to get her lynched pretty quick. So maybe AK is a bounty hunter (lyncher).

Either way the reasons for lynching AK over wicked are enough for me. I'm willing to let him say something first though...

Interesting idea, ML. I don't know much the setting, but thought a lyncher would be a bit weird in a game this big. But bounty hunter is fitting well.
I'll hold off my vote till the evening in case Ak gets back his post from his dog's stomach

Remember that there's no deadline people, I don't have a clue as to how close he is from a lynch but I think it'd be beneficial to give it some time.

Aim and ML have made real good arguments, and I'm starting to lean towards lynching AK myself. Not exactly thrilled with it, because I still doubt Wicked. But AK, we're waiting for you... let's see what he brings to the table.

I think theres more to it than lyncher and lynchee personally because it just seems strange that such two big personalities Iceman and wicked would be assigned these roles.
