Back in my cartoon days it was primarily Looney Toons & the MGM classics. Popeye, Scooby Doo, Tom & Jerry.
Later I loved Barney Miller, M*A*S*H, & Hogan's Heros.

Those. Nick stuff, too, and some Cartoon Network (Dexter's Laboratory). Disney occasionally, including Gargoyles.

Thank God, another geriatric. I was starting to feel really old. Yes,. Saturday mornings: Johnny Quest, the Herculoids and the Banana Splits. Afternoons,: Dark Shadows, though I have to admit that was largely because I had a crush on Angelique (Lara Parker) and the Steve Allen Show. Evenings: Toma, Kung-Fu, and Rowan and Martin's Laugh-in.

I had Castle Greyskull, and my brother had Snake Mountain. I think the franchise went down a bit when they introduced Hordak and his Evil Horde. I mean, like, where the hell did they suddenly appear from?!

Obviously, I know now where they came from - the Mattel directors' desire to squeeze every last penny out of the He-Man range - but at the time, it felt like such a sudden disjoint to the whole He-Man story. It was never the same after that. Don't get me started on She-Ra.

EDIT: Do you still have the toys? Finding that picture brought back memories. All my toys got given away to charity when I was 12, so...

Sounds like a good idea for a new map design. I'm sure if they created it you would finally be able to pry yourself from the Classic Map.

I know, I miss Speedy Gonzales, and Bugs Bunny. And the rest of them. I'm tired of all the crappy ones today. Some kids don't even know some of the classics!
