Post by Ham »

Anyone ever thinking of making a map for this state ? You could make the territorys countys and the continents like Blue ridge zone, piedmont zone Savannah coast zone and S. georgia. Maybe Atlanta metro zone. Anyone want to accept this map ?

if you want to sell your idea to more people, come up with a rough draft of the map and then ask for suggestions. or if you want someone to make the map and you are just supplying the idea post it in the sticky at the top.

I voted for no because I think there are too many maps of some too small places. If I play reallife-maps, I only play those I have a connection to. And what connection do most of the players here have to Georgia? I assume none. I dont think we need more yet-another-map maps, but we need new innovative ideas (like USApocalypse or Circus Maximus, or the upcoming Underground, to name just three totally different but really cool maps).

I was forced to vote no because why just do it for georgia. you would need to do it for the rest of the states.

i said no because i think if cc starts doing states, it should be a more populated state like New York or California. Florida would be interesting because of the shape, though...

I said yes because I live in Georgia and I know the possibilities for this map.

Below is a site with a map of Georgia in it.

http://www.enchantedlearning.com/usa/states/georgia/

i might be able to make the georgia map if i have enough time and if i could figure out how to make the map.

do i just submit a picture for it and someone else makes it so it works to play risk on, or would i have to do it all myself?

You can't really 'submit' a picture and have others work on it per se. You can suggest that someone works on it, but I'm not sure if much effort should be put into this map, considering thus far there hasn't been much support.
