DAY 4 – THE HUNT

4 years, 7 months and 2 days from the Seedfall. 14.32. Coruscant time

Myrkr

My journey from Duro has been interupted by an unexpected attack. A bounty hunter prepared an ambush for me in the Bespin system. Apparently, he had been hired by one of my former publishers who has been driven mad by my failiure to keep up with deadlines. He hired a bounty hunter to destroy my ship and leave a buoy that was to transmit a continoues message: “72 hours means just that, you lazy sod”. However, my shuttle is equiped with modern shields, so I menaged to survive.

Anyway, back to our story.

After they took Duro, Yuuzhan Vong proceeded to conquer Borleias system, thus securing the staging area for an attack on the New Republic Capital – Coruscant. On the eve of one of the most important battles of the War, New Republic was shocked by the news that one of it greatest heroes has been slain. General Wedge Antilles, legendary figther pilot, founder of the Rogue Squadron, Liberator of Coruscant has been stabed in bar fight, while having a drink with other Rogue veterans.

Meanwhile, a the Yuuzhan Vong Shapers have focused all of their efforts in creating a weapon capable of eliminating the threat of the Jedi Knights. To this end, they have created voxyn, creature bred with the capability to sense the presence of a Jedi and with an fearsome arsenal of weapons. Indeed, so dangerous were the voxyn that an accident has caused the Master Shaper Nem Jin to lose her life from the claws of her own creation. They have but one flaw: the couldn't breed. All the voxyn were clones of the original – the voxyn queen.

The Jedi Council headed by Masters Kyp Duron and Corran Horn decide to send a small task force to kill the voxyn queen. Here, on the planet Myrkr, seven Jedi found themselves far behind the enemy lines. Stealth was their only option for they were surrounded with thousands of Yuuzhan Vong, all of whom were seeking to gain honor in the most difficult way possible – by killing a Jedi.

AK_Iceman 2.0 (Nem Jin)(Mafia Doc) have been killed.

Ok.. I re-read the thread and I got what I think is a strong lead on Monsier Minister Masket. Illustrated by the fact that he has defended almost all the scum.

Defending freezie here.

Minister Masket wrote:
Our Clumsy Mod wrote:Fine, Can I at least Role-Claim?
Of course you can. However, many roles will face quick and ignoble death (not Mod-Kill, but “natural” causes  ) if they claim. So, Mass role-claim = Mafia wins.

Maybe THIS is the reason why freezie doesn't want to claim?

wicked wrote: Fine, everyone vote.

Ok, everyone vote wicked!

Minister Masket wrote:
Skittles! wrote:Possibly the most active people are scum. From previous games, I've learnt that scum are normally either active or very active, and hardly ever submarine. If they submarine, who will they know whom to kill that night? If they have a role-blocker, whom will they know to role-block if they don't watch every little detail of everyone's post to guess who might have a night action.

wicked wrote:Freezie, what is your role? You've said you're not a Jedi. I think the non-jedi's probably aren't power roles, so what's the harm in your claiming? You pushed me to claim, so now I'm turning the tables on you and asking you the exact same thing - quote your role.

I'll love to see how you get outta this one.

Defending Exile here:

Struck lucky we did with moz's "lynch" ( ) but unlikely to happen again, it is.

More insight is needed! Mmmm!

However, we are creating history, not repeating it. Do not forget that my young apprentice.

This is actually a very good point, Minister...
WooHoo! I am useful!

wicked wrote:so let's go ahead and put some votes on exile

Statements like this arn't going to do you any favours wicked and you know it. Either you slipped up or perhaps we should still be suspicious of you... :?

Also, the fact that he hasn't contributed anything but just random votes and his only serious posts have defended scum. I have to

Sounds good to me, vote Minister

So it seems this "hunt" is another event? And I assume for the rest of us it's a normal day to vote? Am I reading that right? If that's the case, good luck to the Jedi (Jedis?) picked for it.

Hrm good find on minister. But I really don't doubt minister would do something like unknowingly defend the scum based on how I've seen him play.

Right now FOS minister. no deadline. No need to have a quick lynch.

Dunno what the retired general was doing but seems like a good trade off in any case =)
Based on how MM usually plays (much like a moron, cf NV4 & Super Mario) I think this is a pretty strong lead. I certainly can imagine him blatantly defending all the scum while being scum.

Acctualy I have just been semi-drunk. I haven't really gotten drunk in the last 2 years (the kind of drunk when you start thinking that both milk and coke could add flavour to the same coctail. ).
