Calling someone a monkey, in the UK at least, can often be a euphemism for a cheeky or mischievous individual (often reserved for children) and has no racist implication at all.
'You cheeky little monkey!'
of course if one were to knowingly call a full grown black person a monkey... it may well have a different connotation.
As Wicked said, if you put up the game number perhaps it could be judged better.
I've looked at the remark in question, and in the given context, it does not appear to be a racist remark. If you don't like anyone's language on here, feel free to add them to your ignore list and you won't have to see their comments in game chats, or play them ever again.
dbo, as an objective observer, i would say quite frankly that you have a monkeyish quality about you. I myself would describe you as a titmonkey, and if that disturbs you, have a coke and a smile and shut the f*ck up.
This is all so unfair to REAL monkeys! I mean, what do they get to be called... has anyone considered that!? Think how they'll feel once noone can say "monkey" abymore... and you have a bunch of monkeys all just running around having to be called "hey you... you 'thing'!"
Poor monkeys! Noone takes them into consideration anymore. <shakes head sadly>
