You like PF. that's a good start but you need to open your mind up and realize just how sucky some of those bands you mentioned are. Trust me you'll know which one's in time.

I see you are very open minded yourself.

The main reason I don't like too many old bands is because, while I appreciate their talent and originality, I usually just don't like the vocals

Yes like every band in today's world has perfect vocals.

I never said that. I meant I don't like the vocal style. For example (and some may hate me for this) I can't stand much of Led Zep's singing, and its not that I just don't like "different" singing either, because I have a thing for baritone singers :-k

obviously many bands these days have sucky vocals, please don't interpret my post as "oldies suck and new music pwns"
Relax. In case you can't tell neither of my last two posts directed at you were even the least bit serious. However, I do happen to like alot of the classic vocals with few exceptions.

in the same way, I could also say that my last posts weren't serious

and they weren't. :)

Good. So have you come to realize which bands on that list suck yet?

Pretty good list there. None I can make fun of anyways.

In other news, my team lost it's 16th straight Homecoming game, 32-6 (against a team we should have beaten no less :( ), while Wesley Miller, our manager, was the homecoming king.
