Monopoly type board

Ok, i've an idea that is in it's infancy in my head, and i guess certain things would need to change because of copyright and all that. But i just wanted some ideas/feedback.

Also it's late and my laptop is running slow, so the image isn't great right now. But the idea at the moment is you get bonus' for getting 3 or more sets, - bonus for landing on Tax, and bonus for getting community chest/chance.

So now do i need to draw up a fixed map idea and submit that?

also is the image too big?

Its been tried. Look at the top of the page and search for it. It was pretty good IMO.

London board > all others =P

The problem I see with it is how the bonuses will work. In Monopoly the purple set is worth more than the brown one, but when transferred to this game they'll be just as easy to defend but one would be worth more bonus armies than the other.

I tried to get the london board, as it is better, but i couldn't find a good picture, i'll have to take one of m y set i reckon.

There would also i reckon, be a way to attack through the middle but not sure how yet.

Perhaps impassable walls between some of them. and also if i say purple then i don't get a bonus, but if i hold purple and brown i get a bonus. and then a third on top of that i get an extra bonus

I think that was is no longer in production. Contact the map maker. IF you get no reply than feel free to steal his ideas.

go ahead. But your gonna have to change all the copyrighted names. I bielve that means monoploy needs to be changed to riskopoly.

bugger that. if you want to do it, do it. Even if there are two in production, the better one will get through.

the old project was by EvilOtto, who I'm still in touch with... he says he wants to get back to it and I hope that he does, but I honestly don't see it happening.
