I've only just came back to cc after a long 'vacation'. I haven't been going on the forums at all untill 2-3 days ago, giving me no time to read it, because even then, I only looked at the strategy threads and the Q&A. How would people know about the increase if they don't check the forums?

As for the $5 dollar increase, I was thinking about paying for premo, I probably will regardless of increase in about a month

Perhaps it has something to do with:

"Scheduled Maintenance

Conquer Club will be down for approximately 30 minutes on December 4, between 4AM and 8AM CST. We are adding memory to the web server to make it run faster. ..."

memory does cost money! then again, some of that memory that premium members are probably shelling out an extra 5 bucks for is for free players ;-)

looking forward to renewing mine next month 25$ is a bargain its the six pack and smokes to keep me company that i have to buy that is costly.

it is mainly because the price of the American dollar has fallen and now the Canadian (where lackattack lives) is now on par or better than it so in order to keep his profits up he must increase the price in USD

Well, when a government is over 9 TRILLION dollars in debt and has never really made a tangible plan to get out of the debt, how could the Canadian dollar NOT be worth more?

$25 is still a good fucking deal. I've had a premium since June and it's been the best investment I've ever made (in terms of entertainment). $20 for 20+ hours of gameplay? A new video game costs $60 or more, and those give a standard of ten hours. And I still have another half year on my premium!
