Thank you. I was studying Latin American History.

Congrats :D My friend's wife just got her masters recently in medical science (or something like that)

See HERE is a degree with real world aplication

Do you think that the study of history has any worth at all? Or is it just useless, in your opinion, to study of the history of a worthless, poor, backwards place full of redskins, spics, and niggers?

Not COMPLETELY worthless, history is quit good to study in combination with another subject. What I want to know is what will you, as a master of your subject... or whatever, will contribute to society?

As for this comment, I've never been so insulted in my life... To accuse someone of such a thing is insulting, don't you know that? I am in no way a racist, some of my best friends are black, Mexican and Asian. I'm sorry if I came across as bias, or a jerk, but I realy want to know... How will you use this in the real world?

I actually converted around page 198. Unfortunately, I converted to satanism.

If you've never been so insulted in your life, you must have led a very sheltered life. You have a few things to learn. Maybe I will one day help you with that. One day, maybe one day, you'll be struggling for your degree in marketing and you'll have one last required liberal arts class to take. Every dadgum class will be full except... HIS201, Modern Latin American History. You'll grudgingly register for the class, figuring it'll be easy.

And maybe, just maybe, I will be your professor. And hopefully, ever so hopefully, I will expand your mind, so that even if you continue with your fine career in marketing, continue leading an incredibly sheltered life with little contact with the world outside your suburban neighborhood, you'll be cognizant that a different reality exists, one that you impact every single day. Maybe, remembering that old HIS201 class, you'll donate $5 to Medecins sans frontiers and a little kid in Guatemala will be vaccinated for yellow fever and survive past 5 years old.

Maybe.

Very touching and 'iffy' story. One day I hope to go on to be an engineer, and as far as leading a sheltered life, no... "never been so insulted" is a great exageration on my part... If I had money of my own to spend, I would happily donate 1000 dollars long before I spent 25( to be continued, must check something before continuing.)(Ok I'm back this comment will have the desired impact) ON MEMBERSHIP TO A RISK WEBSITE! (Not that I don't care about the prosperity of one website designer in Canada who goes by the name "Lackattack")

Thank you, merry CHRISTmas,

your's truly
