It would appear that no one around here except vtmarik watches Doctor Who. (I watched it on PBS many years ago, but I only got to see a few episodes.)
After almost a week, I'm gonna yoink this thread. The arcade video game based on this movie outgrossed the box office dollars. What flick was it?

After discussing this with a coworker, I realized that I'd better throw in a conditional modifier to narrow it down: Both the movie and the arcade game were released in the same year.
(Mario Brothers, Mortal Kombat, and Street Fighter movies all did poorly in the box office - deservedly - but the movies were made years after the video games they were based on.)

Yeay.
The movie Blade Runner had heavy influence on a certain song released by White Zombie.
What is the song?

"More Human Than Human" was the answer.
Next question is up for grabs.
I know I didn't wait that long, but this could go stale otherwise.

Up for grabs? I'll take it!
What early comic book hero frequently spoke words like, "KREEGAH! BUNDOLO!" For bonus points, tell us what language he was speaking in!

A full day with nary a guess? Hint time then! There have been at least three movies made about him (one of 'em was a Disney animated flick), two Saturday-morning cartoons, and a live-action TV show.

All righty then, here's one from the other big sci-fi world:
What's the only Klingon phrase that James T. Kirk ever spoke on-screen, and what does it mean?

"Maltz! Cho'EE'CHU!"
Translation: Maltz! Engage Transporter!
Star Trek III.
Ok, another question:
Who was the person killed by the Klingons in Star Trek III, and what special relationship did he have with Kirk?

vtmarik, I'm astounded and maybe a little frightened by how quickly you answered that...
And the Klingons killed David Marcus - James Kirk's son.
Who is Mister Mxyzptlk, where's he normally from, and how do you send him back there?
