Yes I am sorry for those who wanted the map to continue but i have not gotten any responses by any of the Cartos as well as everyone else so this map is abandoned. I may pick it up again after a while if post-feedback is good. until then goodbye map.

Sure, but you're going to have to do better in terms of territories and what not to make a good map...

shit, if you really want to reach for the sky, doing a straight-up map of mars would be interesting.

A Mars map would be pimpin', especially a terraformed, Kim Stanley Robinson-style map. ESPECIALLY if you could somehow work the terraforming concept into the map itself.

yes it would but NASA hasn't really given names to territories on Mars. I look for a pic w/ sort of land markings and post it here or in a new topic or here.

Just do a google search for mars, or look at the wikipedia entries for robinson's mars series... and seriously, NASA has named practically everything worth naming on the ole' red planet.

That might work... tho you might want to find a map that has some terraforming on it, so that there's water to break up the land.

Ok, here's what I've come up with.

I still haven't figured out bonuses or continents yet. there are 55 territories.

I'm worried about the ownership of that picture.

when I googled it, there was no owner and the page did not exist anymore sooo. I also searched the site and could not find the picture but i will e-mail him anyway.

Your small is going to need to be your large, and you'll need another resize down with a smaller font for the names.

I'd actually suggest something like Midkemdil, connect the circles via lines instead of territory borders if space is becoming a problem.

Update 1.2

With the board set up as attack routes instead of territories we have 64 City States. Perfect for 8 players.
The old small map is now the large map.

well here are the maps that are set up like Midkemil, However we are having a copyright issue because the creator doesn't want the map to go towards profit. this is an issue because of our premium members.

I added continents and attack routes.

i think incandenza meant midkemia style, not a straight up copy of it. the tert names are hard to read on the small because of teh back colour on the text.

well the black is there because you can't see the white text, ill most likely go and change the change the size of the small to the max allowed, and ill change the attack routes.
