Bible Prophecy

Before I started taking Bible Prophecy seriously, I actually mocked it quite a bit. So, one day, back in 2004, I decided to open and read the Bible seriously for the first time in my life. And I thought to myself, if this is the end of the world, don't you think that God would put a warning in the Bible about these times? And if He did put a warning in the Bible about these times, how would good Christians know? I mean, there has always been wars and earthquakes, right? What would make our wars and earthquakes any different from any other time?

I thought very hard about this before I opened the Bible. I decided that if God were to warn His Christian followers about the beginning of the end of the world, He would choose an event as a marker and place that marker in the most famous Prophecy book of all time! The Book of Revelations.

So, my first decision was that I was going to open the Bible to the Book of Revelations first...but to what chapter and verse?

That was easy enough to decide...I chose 9:11 for the tragedy of September 11, 2001. I mean, if God was going to put a warning for us, you would think that He would put one there, right?

So, I opened Revelations to Chapter 9 verse 11, and this is what it says:

Revelation 9:11

They have over them a king, the angel of the abyss. In Hebrew his name is Abaddon, but in Greek he has the name Apollyon.

That didn't make a whole lot of sense to me at first. Abaddon did sound a bit like bin Laden, I would give it that; but you would think that if God wanted to warn us about Osama bin Laden he would reveal his whole name that we would know to recognize him by, wouldn't you?

Now, I know that God likes to work with codes and anagrams and such. That is how He keeps His secrets under lock and key. Not to be opened until the appropriate time.

So I took all the letters of Osama bin Laden and Abaddon Apollyon and decided to try and make a reasonable phonetic spelling of Osama's name that would be understood.

I took AbaddonApollyon and noticed that I can make some phonetic changes in Osma bin Laden's name to fit similarities in the Hebrew and Greek spellings for The Destroyer (which for those of you who are interested and believe in the Bible Code, God says that he gives Osama a name, and that name is Destruction).

The phonetic similarity was this:

Osamabynlladdon

I then put this phonetic spelling directly above the connected Hebrew and Greek name AbaddonApollyon:

AbaddonApollyon
Osamabynladdon

Now after studying this configuration, I noticed that all the letters matched, except for four. The letters s, m, p, and an o:

AbaddonApollyon
Osamabynlladdon

There is no s or an m in AbaddonApollyon! So now I am stuck, right?

Nope...just takes a little more effort to decipher the anagram and ultimately grasp the phonetic name of Osama bin Laden.

The true undeciphered spelling of Osama's name is:

ooAApynlladdon

The o being pronounced in the plural would be o's. And the two capital A's standing together form a letter M.

So you get:

o'sAMApynlladon

and the letter p stands in phonetically for the English b...but the p sound is closer to the Arabic b, so phonetically the letter p will work here. As the b sound in Arabic is shorter and much sharper than the English version of the letter b.

ooAApynlladdon = Osama bin Laden

I still think the two witnesses that are killed are the Twin Towers, then the witnesses that were resurected were Former presidents Clinton and Bush who flew over to observe the tsunami damage of 2004.

I have always heard that God does things for a reason, but I can never figure out why he would want to hurt so many innocent people.

Why was Obama not one of the options? Never heard of the him before he came out of no where to challenge Hilary.

George Bush is too much of an idiot for even the Devil to want to deal with. Also like was stated earlier what is Osama really ruling over? Plus he isn't good looking and the vast majority hate him. Of what I understand the Anti-christ will be some relatively unknown up until it's too late. No one will really know until then. but I still speculate that Obama is on top of my radar atm.

God does'nt hurt innocent people...according to the book of revelation..one day in the future..the whole world will be against Christian.. and all the countries will get together just to attack and kick out Christian..so still think they're innocent people..??

this is a fairly difficult position to reconcile, does this mean that you think the billions of people world over who are not christians, have in some capacity deserved or will earn their eventual retribution from God?

dont understand what you mean... but what i mena is that.. ok try putting yourself on God's shoe.. imagine your children does'nt believe whatever you say.. and they are trying to kill your other sons... so what do you do?...

I had it up there, but too many posts for the poll! So I had to edit a bunch of them...Osama, Hillary the Whore, Billy Boy, Captain Crunch, The Burger King...So that's why I put other so that we can discuss who the Beast really is!

And God can raise us all from the DEAD, so it doesn't matter to Him if we die or not...He can just waive His mighty hand over our corpse (or ashes, or pieces of corpse) and POOF! We are resurrected!

u were bored all right. And after reading this, it made just about much sense as Nostradamus's quantities. In one of them, he wrote that two beasts with the same name ( Mabus) would rule the world in out era. And people that interpreted that, decided that Mabus es, are Bush and Bin laden. OsaMABUSh, get it?

Jim Carey once said, if u look for something you will find it. Thats what you did, u tried to make sense of what was written in the bible, and you made up pretty good excuses for your logic.

It's still just piece of crap

This is happening around the world today. There are kids out there today that don't believe what their parents say, and kids killing their siblings.

He means that God's children (us) are killing each other for not agreeing on which sky daddy is real.

To answer the question about God giving us a sign that the "Time of the End" is near, the Bible states that one of the first signs will be when the "Holy City" gets surrounded by enemies. I've done alot of reading of the Bible and this paticular prediction is the first sign God gives us for the time appointed.

Now I'm not one to bash Bible prophecy, but anagrams? I mean, Revelation wasn't written in English, or even with a 26-letter alphabet. Now that you mention it, Osama bin Laden isn't an English or 26-letter name either.

Bible prophecy fascinates me, and I'm certainly all for learning about it, but I think you're grasping at straws with this one.

Perhaps God is trying to warn Americans? He can do that right? He can encode any Bible he wants despite its language. God can do anything! :wink:
