ok...what happens

...If a player doesn't play on his/her turn...do they forfeit their fortifications?

My players are taking so long....It has been 3 days and I have had only one turn.

Nothing happens until they miss 3 turns in a row. THen they forfeit and their armies turn neutral

If they miss a turn, they still get the armies from that missed turn, but they're deferred, and the player can't deploy them until after their attack phase, thus preventing them from gaining any sort of advantage from missing the turn.

you joined on the 26th, how has it been 3 days? i count one day and more posts than moves from you! anyway, that is what you get for jumping in a huge game with a bunch of "?" players... half of them probably won't even come back and you'll be stuck in your games for a month... good luck!-0

Ok maybe 3 days was a bit of an exageration, but it sure seems like it.

So in 144736723 you've waited around 23 hours. In all the others, you been waiting just a little over 24hours. None of this is any big deal in casual games where each player is allowed up to 24 hours to take their turn.

exited is what will happen to them when they miss 3 turns you on the other hand like me will be very excited to take your turn. I am down to 45 active games and may have to start some more soon.
